It's been nearly a year since the Kumars and the people behind them got involved (87 million shares for $1.4 million).

Is it too soon to compare words with actions?

"The Investors would work with Tethys to assist it to:

o Favorably resolve any detrimental issues the Company may be facing in Kazakhstan;
o Obtain a bank loan from a reputable bank in Kazakhstan for the Company's subsidiary Tethys Aral Gas LLP ("TAG") to enable it to repay and restructure current loans and to fund operations;
o Market the Company's gas sales for export;
o Improve the pricing of Tethys' oil and gas products;
o Engage with the Company's current corporate lenders with a view to restructuring existing loan terms in order to improve cash flow."

Similar share price charts with Tethys Shambles Petroleum after mess up after mess up by the management. Amazing how they turn up when the share price has been dragged down to its lowest price....I wonder when his share options will magically arrive no doubt at the all time lows?????????

Nice to see some respect thrown John Bell's way (hxxp://www.malcysblog.com/) as he currently helps turn around Gulfsands Petroleum. The definite why-didn't-I-sell moment happened when Bell and POPE were at odds after POPE forced NOSTRUM out and Olisol in.

RNS this weekend !.
I understand that by this weekend, Tethys will provide an update on key operational and legal matters.
The previous RNS was issued on 10 Aug.
As there is an ongoing legal dispute with " you know who" and as this BB is being monitored by them, the content and timing of Tethys news updates have to be factual and carefully considered, prior to its release.

If (more) bad news comes before you can even sell the stock, don't UK traders have legitimate grounds to sue some entity? Asking, as I don't know, but would like to think shareholders in any stock would have some sort of protection when junk like this happens to them.

Feedback from Barclays. Executive summary: I'm still waiting....

"Please rest assured we're waiting for our custodians to confirm the foreign outcome of the shares. Once we have a further update, we'll be in touch. Whilst I understand that this has been going on for sometime, I'm sorry to say we have no timescale as to when this is likely to be resolved."

MATD HUGE news today, Fallen from 32p when Bergen deal was announced and now NO MORE DILUTION till Mid Oct.. .MASSIVE upside with 2 Billion barrel prize Drilling next month!

Back to 30p levels soon.

TPL already released their update, 28th July.

I think that's just one of those stupid bot sites that generates automated "news" based on previous year's dates (q2 was released on 15th August last year)

The next financial results (Q3) should be end of October to mid November.

It's hard to judge what we are being told and what we are not being told. E.g. I don't recall that we were told that Skripka took them to court for unfair dismissal or whatever it was that he was attempting to do. I don't think it would have been particularly relevant or material to the business but then they themselves thought it relevant enough to announce how it ended. Also, what about the various loans that should have matured by now, e.g. the $1 million Kaz bank loan that Olisol arranged for TPL, what happened to that?

If any shareholders thought it wise to side with Olisol in the hope to e.g. reverse the delisting somehow then the last RNS should give them pause for thought: Olisol don't seem to care how they get their hands on the assets and if they can do it by seizing the assets and leaving the shareholders with nothing then it seems they will.
