Hopefully I undervalue their assets, and admittedly, I'd hate to see stock price collapse without also being able to capitalize on it. (There was no change in US to BID/ASk or stock price that week after UK investors were given the news about the LSE listing.)
Anyway, hard to focus on this stock anymore, as it's a pure wildcard. Have no idea what's going on behind the scenes but hopefully it's not all awful.
Now focus more on biotechs, which all seem to find ways at some point of going up 100 percent for no reason (then of course collapsing the next day). Wish POPE, Olisol, or other investors in this stock were able to manipulate this ticker the same way.

Personally, I also think it's now somehow overvalued at 2 cents CAD. What does it take for a stock to become .0001 cents? From the debt and bakruptcy concerns, the court cases, the likely loss of assets (Tajikistan, etc), and the indifferent mgmt, this stock should be giving us all an opportunity to get rich if it does somehow escape death.
But the max we'll ever see for this stock's PPS is so low now that the only way we'll make good money from it is if the rock-bottom PPS is much lower -- and right now, we're having a hard time dropping below 2 cents CAD no matter what junk they put out in a press release next.

TI, I personally would be among those thrilled by a 6 cents offer for the company. My dreams for this as an investment have long been crushed. I was supposed to have my whole investment here moved to an iron stock last September (after the Olisol merger) that has since quadrupled (Champion iron), and I'm always on the lookout now to try to move my funds elsewhere whenever stock becomes momentarily liquid.
This stock has kept me near brink of bankruptcy for nearly a year. I made so many mistakes with this investment -- by not going with gut and giving up on it after certain ridiculous press releases; by averaging down relentlessly after the Nostrum deal collapsed, even though that's when I should have given up on it; by feeling I had to make the profit here, as I spent so long holding stock, not elsewhere; by not thinking that mgmt would continually prevent any merger/buyout from happening; by trusting mgmt cared about share price or about shareholders -- and it would be like waking from a bad dream if someday I was able to come out of it with only a few thousand lost. Right now, I've lost 30,000 in addition to about 30,000 by not using it as a tax-writeoff last year.

Meanwhile I make that another Friday of non-achievement by Tethys Petroleum to "create shareholder value"

Now thats roughly 120 Fridays that Tethys have achieved nothing for their shareholders since Bill was supposedly going to be the saviour and we still sit at the lowest lows the world has ever seen on Tethys share price.





So many unanswered questions., Once again still waiting.

People who are simply investors here -- ie those who are not employed by Tethys/Pope or who are friends with board members -- have nothing to do but feel stupid for having invested, often heavily, into this stock. And there's unfortunately no hints of accumulation or any positive stock-market-related shenanigans going on. TETHF ticker was usually placing BID and ASk at far higher prices than corresponding Canadian price. Yesterday, ASK price dropped to below 2 cents CAD, and there was zero people interested in buying the shares. The stock cannot even attract bottom feeders when it is in the midst of a drilling program.
Since I had to pay $30000 in taxes for last year's capital gains, it appears I would have financially benefited if Tethys threw in the towel last Fall. Then I would have at least not had to pay the taxes.

Fake news and hype at this stage will never push the price up to your "wishful thinking" desired level !.
Wait for some real progress on the drilling program and the solution of the short term debt issue !.
Be reasonable and curb your basic instincts to lash out day in day out !.
Ultimately, you could end up being the only contributor to this BB !.

Meanwhile we as private gamblers wish Bill and Ken all the luck and best will in the world to once and for all finalise sort this mess out and at last "create shareholder value", not just for the 4 people on the board who turned up but for all the PIs who have had to endure the lack of news and stagnant share price for too damn long.


To keep hguess16 and I happy.............BRING ON THE NEWS AND THE HYPE!

"If you don't see an uptick in the SP"............We have not seen a decent uptick in share price for over 2 years...................bordering on 3!!!!!!


Now please dont call me fickle BUT I consider that something to be extremely agitated about. ;-)


Three years of patience really is enough to wind anybody up. Some people sit back and take being robbed of their savings, some people make their feelings known.


You must admit it would be good if they could let us know what is going on with the many a question that have been commented on, on this board...........



Or maybe as benandemmiboo said, maybe we ask Olisol wtf is going on....they seem rather keen on letting us know!!!!! LOL

Well we all await Bills great idea that closing the LSE is going to create more liquidity!!!!!!

Decent news creates decent liquidity and we wait as always for the board to create anything to create shareholder trust!!!!! Sort it out!!

WE SIT AND WAIT THE USUAL TOSH THAT THESE GUYS FORCE US TO TAKE AS THE NORM......ONE DAY THEY MAY WELL BE RIGHT, BUT JEEZ WHEN THE HELL ARE THEY GOING TO BLAB ALL THE GREAT NEWS THAT THEY HAVE BEEN HOLDING BACK...!!!! LOL

Unless this individual is in the business of loan recovery (which he may well be) then he will probably agree to a renegotiated loan - but it will be on his terms, not TPL's.

I could had come back with 'perhaps they'll take shares instead of cash for the loan' or 'perhaps they'll take a jv in the current drilling campaign as full settlement of the loan' or even, 'perhaps there are no current money worries regarding this loan as the directors ave said they'll cover it'....

You see casual, all of the above comments, including your are guess work so have no merit whatsoever and, as for you making a point, you haven't, it was an assumption...... yet again.

Why do you not ask the BoD's your questions, as I like a few others on here including guess do. That we are asking the right people for an answer and not making yet again another wild assumption.

Anyway, enough of all this nonsense as I'm sure we've both have something more important to do like get on with the rest of the day.

D64 - it is a pretty good assumption that they are potentially hostile as they took TPL to court demanding immediate repayment!

D64 -- No, the point I made to hguess was not about the fact he only posts postive stuff but that he seems to want to shut down people who want to examine the not so rosy scenarios. If you take care to read what I actually write perhaps you and I wouldn't appear to be all that much in opposition?

Also, while I do end up posting a lot of "doom", which frankly is normal given the critical situation the company finds itself in, I do often add the flip side also.

I am not posting in a vacuum here. I react to what other people post and seek to add or clarify with my point of view.

The whole loan thing this morning was in response to a post by benandemmiboo.

This is what I posted -- hardly one-sided?

On the other hand the loan is not secured.

They should be able to renegotiate it but it could be expensive to do so.
