28/7/2017 19:28 | benademmiboo, I feel your pain. WE ARE ALL FRUSTRATED AT CONTINUALLY BEING KEPT IN THE DARK, ESPECIALLY AFTER BEING ASKED BY POPE TO JOIN THE CRUSADE TO GET THEM ON BOARD NEARLY THREE YEARS AGO. People should be jailed for their corporate incompetence UNLESS the share price starts to rise on the LONG LONG AWAITED NEWS that no doubt will come after hours or hopefully Monday. | temporarily insane
28/7/2017 19:26 | The Tethys management seem determined to keep as quiet as they can which is really beginning to xxck me off more than I usually am with how we have all been treated since Wells took over. What is up with these people? Do they not understand that positive news helps the stock??? With all the letters behind their names you would have thought that at least one of them would have spoken up about possibly putting out an RNS with something so important. Its not as if this lot have been delaying anything on purpose.......PMSL | temporarily insane
28/7/2017 19:24 | The last TD Ameritrade trade yesterday (which brought stock down ot 2 cents CAD) forced me into a margin call again (hence my increased pessimism/frustratio Had to sell 100,000 shares to satisfy part of the margin call. Will dump other stocks to cover rest. Definitely a tale of two years for me. Through August of last year -- great. Ever since -- an unending nightmare. | benandemmiboo
28/7/2017 19:05 | I remember it was mentioned that they apparently won the Canadian court case (if only because Olisol did not show up). It would have been nice if they mentioned it. We did not need to know the monetary amount they won -- just knowing they won should have helped the stock. | benandemmiboo
28/7/2017 18:20 | I remember the ex-Tethys employee who showed up here mentioned that he thought Tethys would not make money until it went private. I do not know why he said that -- I hardly know anything going on behind the scenes -- but I get the impression Wells is not shy about taking companies private. Since there are few private investors left, I am right in thinking they need to offer a price to buy back all of our shares if they indeed go private, correct? | benandemmiboo
28/7/2017 18:03 | I think Wells is different. Robson had similarities. Bharti is a geologist, and has an accomplished group of geologists who work with him, and who helped find some of the best resources in iron, gold, lithium, and graphite. Bharti also looks for big resources (the type that Brent Cook likes), knowing that big resources have the most potential to be sold, etc. Bharti also is not shy about diluting; if Wells did not block Robson's goal to raise money a few years ago, where would company now be? Bankrupt, as his naysayers think? So many companies under Bharti have went to a penny (Black Iron, Rodinia, QMX, etc); all had assets behind them that enabled a strong recovery. I think Wells gave up on Tajikistan too quick (as it still has potential; country govt policies do change)and he seems to have put too much focus on making Tethys smaller. I pray we get big, positive news soon, but I fear the goal is to go private after almost every non-POPE private investor has given up. | benandemmiboo
28/7/2017 17:19 | "Anyway, "Bharti" is not a very shareholder-friendly person (he is definitely in it for himself, etc), but they do invest in their companies -- often crashing them, almost intentionally, to invest more in them -- and one does tend to do well if one can afford to follow them." Swap out "Bharti" for "Wells" and you have something rather familiar. | temporarily insane
28/7/2017 14:49 | ""one which seems to treat POPE as Tethys' only investor, and which seems comfortable making its money off protected loans that gain 10 percent interest or some-such""......... AND WE ARE ALL SICK AND TIRED OF THE FAFFING ABOUT. WE ARE ALL XXCKED OFF WITH THE SILENCE>>>& NEARLY THREE YEARS OF YOUR WAYS NOW GET ON WITH WHAT YOU HAVE DRAGGED THIS COMPANY DOWN TO. | temporarily insane
28/7/2017 14:40 | I always compared Robson's financial games, often attacked here, as modeled after those by Stan Bharti (whose Forbes Asset Management company receives consulting fees from every company it invests in, etc). One of these, QMX Gold, was 2 cents as of 2 years ago, and 4 cents as of last year. It is now 38 cents. The model (according to Bharti) is designed so that small companies can have access to very skilled management, and good legal departments, each of which their companies need as they also have assets in mostly difficult countries (Ukraine, Brazil, etc). Anyway, Bharti is not a very shareholder-friendly person (he is definitely in it for himself, etc), but they do invest in their companies -- often crashing them, almost intentionally, to invest more in them -- and one does tend to do well if one can afford to follow them. There was a chance IMO for people to make money with Robson. There seems to be no chance with the current approach -- one which seems to treat POPE as Tethys' only investor, and which seems comfortable making its money off protected loans that gain 10 percent interest or some-such. | benandemmiboo
