Neily/all,

If you can send me a private message detailing all the problems you've had in as short of a letter that you can, then I will send them to both Bill Wells & Ken May and then speak to them about the problems their actions have caused.

I'm not saying I can do anything or achieve much, but I can try on your behalf. I am lucky in that all of my TPL shares were held online by TD Waterhouse and thus, every single one of them have been transferred over to the TSX without me actually doing anything, though I'm sorry to read of all or your problems with this.

Me, I'd hate to have shares in certificate form as like you Neilly, I like to have the thought I have control over my shares.

As said, all who have such issues send me a letter that I can send on to them.

IG exactly the same.

No contact us, its straight into LIVE chat. Yes course we can do that. I was very explicit about the company, the market, the ticker, the situation......total amateurs.

I argued about the lack of communications from both parties involved.

I argued about levels of professionalism, the letter I received from Halifax for instance was incredibly poor, no explanation, no reasoning.

I argued about choosing HL based on being a highly reputable co, they didn't act so.

I find all these companies want you to open an account, THEN they see if they can actually do what you want from them. They should be checking before getting you to sign up etc.

Neily -- how did you argue for compensation? Was told by Barclays that as it is an "execution only" service that they had no responsibility to tell me what's what.

Perhaps I am just a stupid control freak, anyway it got my goat. I have complained successfully to Halifax and HL (both gave compensation). That was not my aim but I will also complain to ombudsman about todays debacle with IG. They were very amateur.

Neily, you're definitely not alone here. While I have some of my shares with TD that have moved over to TSX (internally), I also am left with more that I was trying to transfer from Best Invest but they are holding as certificates but can't now transfer as well as another holding that was sent to me as certificate from Selftrade.I'm awaiting Clive Oliver's press release of the options from his discussions with CDS in Canada.

Not alone neily, I have paper certificates. I get the control bit, but that doesn't bother me. So I'm sitting on these until Clive Oliver sorts it or I need to sell which I belive can be doe through the Canadian registrar, although I've not had this confirmed yet.

When my broker told me my shares had been purchased by a scheme of arrangement the form apparently was vague. If I'd held onto the shares there would be a monthly fee of £3 and a £50 transfer charge[Jarvis]. So who brought my shares at the bottom and was it just managements plan all along.... imho

I think those who did transfer did so before the delisting, when everything was in place to do it digitally.

I doubt anyone was able to get shares transfered after CREST stopped supporting it.

Casual - appreciate your post.

I think you may be right, however I have always liked to be "in control", press the buttons when I want to press them. Control isn't there with this now. Am I alone in this situation, anyone else actually transferred and okay now ??

Neily -- I think the solution may have to be to keep hold of your certificates yourself until such a time you're ready to sell. There should be several brokers who can take sell instructions from you for international certificates (see e.g. the Redmayne Bentley link I shared earlier).

There were simply pre-market games in US. Bid had went up to 1.8 cents in pre-market (which is high for US), then ASK dropped to lowest ever (.0162) once market opened. BID is now .0108.

I see 500k shares purchased at the open for 0.03 CAD but the sell price hasn't risen yet. It is a while since we've had any volume.

BID and ASK seem to be rising in pre-market. Perhaps some tolerable news forthcoming. Still personally need this stock desperately to recover, at least to 3-4 cent range.

Someone just bought or sold 50 shares of the TETHF ticker today, causing stock price to rise to .0107 cents.

Need to see perhaps more volume to figure out if people are expecting great drilling results.

If you don't get a positive response from TD, try Fidelity who deal in international
shares incl Canada ( CA). Look at the Fidelity website.
You might also try Computer share who have registry and share dealing services in
UK and Canada. Look at the Computershare website.
