Can't wait for the annual results now.

It's interesting that the focus for the last year or two has been mostly on their gas assets. I remember before Olisol turned sour there was that one optimistic RNS in August sometime talking about their plans and it was basically gas gas gas.

The gas sales contract with ICA is I imagine fixed for the next couple of years so where do they expect to get the higher prices from once volume is ramped up with the new wells?

Edit: looks like they have a few gas contracts in place:

TI, as the TSX shareprice moves in 0.005 increments that was mostly "normal" as that was often fairly small volume. Large volume as today is a bit more baffling.

Hey casual47, I have been moaning about the % sell proportion to share price positive movement for months.

Cheers Dorset64.

Looks as though the Canadians liked the positive news based upon the trades. Most trades for a few years.

D64 - I'm not sure what mechanism is going on but something must be happening as there was huge volume on TSX yet the dial was mostly stuck on 0.03 CAD, which is about 1.80 pence.

The day the delisting was announced the share price sunk to 0.87p at one point and that was after only a few million shares were being sold (mostly you and me, ha!). I would guess if 30 million was being dumped there might be a suspension of sorts or it would go into auction?

I dont think there is any need to rns either until the results come out or within the 10 days they have specified.

Great news about the contracts being signed, looking forward to that being RNS'd in the morning.

A bit more confidence to be promoted to the market whilst the share price is on its ass!

So what would the share price be if everyone dumped, say 30m on the lse in london, but then went and boght the equivilant amount of monies in shares on the tsx? Would London tank whilst Canada flourish?Im hearing also that the contracts were actually signed today and that yes, so that is now cast in stone and drilling to commence along with a break in the weather and yes, they are a subsiduary of CPNC.

Similar chart to LSE, one up , one down, one up, one down. All carefully orchestrated as well on TSX. Albeit nearly 6 million traded and up the same as if somebody had bought 5000.

I guess the MM do arbitration themselves? Buy up stock on LSE to then release on TSX and vice versa?

The TSX did correct itself down to match LSE on the day the delisting was announced, even though it didn't affect TSX

TI, whether it is a turnaround depends on the loans being renegotiated and funding. It may yet be a false dawn.

It's 29th of March and the RNS said the Khan Energy loan (8 million) is due in March....so cutting it fine, only two working days left.

Barclays haven't officially received any instructions yet from TPL so they couldn't officially give me any feedback. Un-officially, they told me, I can't hold in ISA or SIPP but I can trade in a regular dealing account with them, though he would be able to tell me for sure once they get formal instructions from TPL. Maybe it's the same with Selftrade.

It's selftrade mate yes, I will be moving broker if I can't keep it in my isa. I was quite shocked as the person I spoke to really didn't have a clue.

Wright -- which broker is that?

Might be more cost-effective to move to a broker which allows you to keep and trade TPL on TSX withinh an ISA/SIPP

Just rang my broker as the message I had been waiting for arrived and it didn't make any sense at all. I hold these in a selftrade isa. They've backtracked a bit now, and are waiting for more information from tethys before I get my answer. Worst case is I may have to take them out of my isa and have them in a regular dealing account I think.

Hi Devon
I sold out of tpl last yr, but keep an eye on tpl, i was bemused by the delisting, but the drilling costs shows that something wasnt right back when those wells were drilled , i would love to go over the drilling costs back when Robson was in charge , tpl might be able to claim some money back from his estate.
