23/1/2017 10:58 | TI, Perhaps they are waiting for regulatory approval for the appointment of the other major investor, Mr Winston Kumar Soosaipillai before they announce both !. | hguess16
23/1/2017 10:31 | Thank you Ben. On another note I wonder why we dont have any news in the news section at the top of this page considering the new member appointment was in the public domain last week. | temporarily insane

23/1/2017 08:47 | new job opening: oil and gas sale specialist, hxxps://aktobe.hh.kz | benandemmiboo
21/1/2017 11:10 | Well, this news to me looks as though the company is getting stronger and stronger albeit from sitting on its ass. For once, I feel as though I can look forward to the next RNS's that Tethys put to the market. I feel positive. Yay | temporarily insane
21/1/2017 10:04 | guys its just a bit of bb cabin fever, get out, enjoy the weekend, we all have differing points of view, however we are unified in wanting to make a profit out of tethys.. | brad44
21/1/2017 09:35 | How about we make a deal: I/we stop moaning and hguess stops gushing and receiving every tidbit of news as if Moses has come down the mountain. Fair? | casual47
21/1/2017 08:43 | After "Prince Olisol" stabbed Tethys, while dancing, Medgat stepped in to stop the bleeding and is now taking care of her !. So stop moaning and groaning !. | hguess16
21/1/2017 07:46 | So he gets 9% of the company with his 43m shares he took. Now a place on the board also.. seems tethys fall in love too easy lol | reidy66
21/1/2017 07:26 | TI, thanks, Medgat's appointment !. A new chapter in the first of many moves to establish a viable drilling, refining, distribution, and trading business for a rejuvenated Tethys !. | hguess16
20/1/2017 19:31 | Thank you for your reply benandemmiboo. Hang on in there. | temporarily insane
20/1/2017 18:32 | A reputable investment fund? Whatever. Here's hoping POPE's large investment in TOTAL pays off for TETHYS. Just noticed they have a growing investment in Tethys' Tajikistan partner. | benandemmiboo
20/1/2017 17:57 | Even Pope, a reputable investment fund is entitled to make mistakes, and they certainly did make a big mistake in placing their trust in Olisol based on their previous relationship with them. I cannot see any sense in a PI who still clings on to the past thinking about what might or could have been, based on an outdated post on this website, which has been proved to be wrong by placing faith in an unprofessional mini Russian oligarch and bully, who tried to steal Tethys from PI's. Remember that Olisol with Abramov showed its true colours by trying to gain control of Tethys via the back door and when they failed, they used the local mafia to raid the Tethys office and frighten the staff !. Good riddance to Olisol !. | hguess16
20/1/2017 17:31 | Due to kid stuff and other things, going to the EGM is logistically impossible for me. Monetarily, not feeling like I have money for trips anyhow at this point. | benandemmiboo
20/1/2017 17:00 | Some of us hope for more, some of you hope for less. | temporarily insane
20/1/2017 16:59 | benandemmiboo, are you going to the EGM? | temporarily insane
20/1/2017 16:58 | There's a lot of articulate posters on this board, and it's certainly why boards on Yahoo, Stockhouse, and LSX ultimately seem inferior to here. That said, the posts which have all seemed most on-target have been the posts which have been subsequently trashed, not the ones which seem well-thought-out and intelligible, such as the following: (devonlad, 9/11/2015,14:50) FYI, I think that Pope pushed hard for the Olisol deal, just a hunch! Also, and especially for Neily, Olisol and AGR have the connections, NOG don't. Connections make things happen in Khaz. Just an export licence will have a massive boost on revenues for TPL, that should happen pretty quickly. Gas drills don't take long to complete and you can bet your bottom dollar that Klymene will be very close to the top of the list. Also, Olisol can then get the issues at the AOT sorted out and finally get rid of the staff that Robson bought in. In my mind, this is the best result for long term investors and I couldn't give a monkeys about here today and gone tomorrow guys! | benandemmiboo
20/1/2017 16:05 | Casual, Let me say that further dilution is unlikely because it is evident that there is adequate capacity among PAM and the Kumars capital resources in order to offer corporate guarantees in order to back the Tethys short term loans and funds required for drilling !. | hguess16
20/1/2017 15:54 | Guys, I am not arguing with you. All I am saying is where once we could hope for 15-20 pence upwards, it is highly likely the best we can reach now is 3-5 pence, assuming further dilution is not needed to get the capex (a big assumption). That. Is. All. | casual47
20/1/2017 15:51 | In an earlier note, I said that "when Tethys was in freefall" the Kumars stepped in and decided to take a punt on Tethys. The Kumars did this because they were persuaded by Wells/May that there was value leftin this collapsing company !. PI's had the opportunity to stock up on Tethys shares at prices ranging between 1-1.25p, but it seems that a few of them felt that the risk of failure was too great and they backed off, out of fear !. Tethys, understandably, could not go for a rights issue at that time because Abramov/Olisol would have piled in and taken control of Tethys !. Do you honestly think that Abramov would have given PI's a better deal !. For better or worse, I'd rather back Wells, May and the Kumars to deliver and I have done so with my not insignificant holding, by voting "YES" for both resolutions !. | hguess16
20/1/2017 14:43 | D64 -- I accept that they may have saved the company. We all have discussed at length the various reasons how it was allowed to get this far so no point going over that again. But you should also accept this recent intervention has come at a very high price to us PIs in terms of how high the share price is likely to go from here. With the warrants and renegotiated convertible loan they have awarded themselves the option to issue themselves with new shares worth more than 50% of the company, at present. This is before they have actually done anything to get the company out of emergency life support as they have not yet revealed how they will find funding capex -- all they have delivered on so far is to extend the life support machine. For anyone who has an average above 5 pence: sorry but you are likely to never, ever get all your money back. Though getting *some* money is of course preferable than getting none back. | casual47 |
