--German auto maker Volkswagen AG (VOW.XE) and Tesco PLC (TSCDY) on Thursday said they will work together to build charging stations for electric vehicles in the U.K., Bloomberg reported Thursday.
--The companies anticipate constructing about 2,500 charging bays at 600 stores over the next three years, the report said.
--Drivers will be able to use a 7-kilowatt charger free of charge, or pay "market rate" to use a 50-kilowatt charger, the report said.
