TD service this morning was pathetic. Tried for more than 45 mins to trade from opening but had same response as you. Surprise surprise once the prices increased it was possible. No doubt the boys in the City had no problem getting in and out at will

Isn't this what Central banks around the world have been trying to get , unsuccessfully, for the last 6 years?

We need to normalise Interest rates.It's resulting in a serious misallocation of resources. we also need to normalise inflation...

Much depends on £/euro and how much we import from euroland...with a weak £ our base costs increase/profits fall...cost hikes to be passed on to customers...will they be happy ? tough times ahead me thinks.

Tesco To Sell Coffee Chain To Caffe Nero.

Harris and Hoole has 43 shops and around 400 staff. Tesco first took a stake in the company three years ago before later taking full ownership. The sale price for the business has not been disclosed.

muted response to a good trading statement. Technically 170p is a key resistance level, get through this and we should have a good run at 190 - 200. I guess the Brexit stuff will make it volatile for a few days, but this is a good place to have you money at the moment IMO.

I have just listened to a radio 4 report on the results published this morning. The comments were positive saying the changes brought in were working with an increase in customer volume meaning people were returning to the store.The decision not to enter into a price war but to mark down product prices selectively was working.Profits up, And it is unlikely there will be a call for further funding with such a healthy balance sheet.Buy.
