31/1/2019 12:59 | jamonit31 Jan '19 - 11:49 - 136364 of 136381 0 17 0 No one has picked up on the phrase "DA is not yet in a position to name the end user of the security solution. " This might have been inserted in order to say to you all 'stop whining about RNSs for everything (sweepie) and realise that this degree of discretion applies to all the DA business that's in progress.' Notice that this RNS has only appeared after nCipher left Thales. Clearly Thales prohbited such an announcement, but nCipher now need publicity. The decision whether or not to publicise deals via RNS does not lie with Tern. The contract was RNS’d back in december, Tern has added more detail today, contract size was already known. | stead41
31/1/2019 12:59 | the more people interested in ncipher the better, any loser may fancy DA as their reward ? Grimm told Computer Business Review: “There are multiple bidders seeking to acquire nCipher’s business. Having achieved the ‘carved out’ status we need to proceed on January 24, the bidding process is ongoing. We expect it will be a matter of weeks before the winning bidder is selected.” nCipher security He declined to comment on the potential buyers in the mix or the price the company hopes to attain. | still waiting
31/1/2019 12:54 | I think most of the mm's know they could make a lot of money by allowing this to move properly.... way too cheap down here imho. | still waiting
31/1/2019 12:53 | mmm...does anyone know if these medical machines can be retrofitted with an nCipher HSM module or whether they have to be designed in ab initio? | stentorian

31/1/2019 12:43 | It's weird that the UK institutions don't take an interest. Here you have tern holding nigh on 60% of DA, that has now achieved official recognition from a major European provider of HSM solutions (annual revenue of ca. €900m) to major players like Vodafone, Hitachi, Nexus, etc. .... and the share price can't even get past 15p? Market, wake up .... | andrbea
31/1/2019 12:42 | The announcement of the pilot partnership with Thales helped the price reach last years high of intra day high of 57p, now we have a fully functional product with a multi million pound partner signing contracts and promising many more and we are at 13p. Lots of ground to make up, looking forward to news of fresh contracts very soon | sweepie2
31/1/2019 12:35 | As I've been over the last year never been so confident in my large (for me) investment in TERN which I genuinely believe will multi bag many times during 2019 from this artificially low level. Simply an investment opportunity of a lifetime. One hour closer, many pounds not pence. | floydymagic
31/1/2019 12:33 | Kk, I know you have posted this link, so I thought I would reproduce in full. This appears to go beyond a partnership in the medical space, as was the case with Thales. Also look at the extended timescale 5-10 years. Device Authority and nCipher Security announce success in delivering trust for Medical IoT January 31, 2019 Securing medical device manufacturer surgical robot systems Device Authority, a global leader in Identity and Access Management (IAM) for the Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain, announces its partnership and joint customer success with nCipher Security, the provider of trust, integrity and control for business critical information and applications. Device Authority’s KeyScaler platform integrates with nCipher’s nShield hardware security modules (HSMs) to provide high-assurance device authentication, managed end-to-end encryption, and certificate provisioning for IoT devices, ideal for medical, industrial, and other smart connected products. KeyScaler delivers a scalable, device-based authentication and authorization to establish a strong root of trust and identity assurance for medical IoT devices. Cindy Provin, Chief Executive Officer, nCipher Security says: “Every day we are seeing how technology in healthcare is helping improve the care that patients receive. However, we have also seen that the healthcare industry is regularly under threat from cybercriminals. Our partnership with Device Authority has enabled us to solve device authentication and data security challenges that are hindering IoT deployments. By creating a hardened system for issuing and managing device credentials and the keys that are essential to creating a root of trust, we enhance patient safety and allow organizations to confidently deploy business critical IoT projects. This has led to our first joint customer win with a large medical device manufacturer securing surgical robot systems.” The medical device manufacturer produces high quality surgical robot systems which perform a variety of treatments and procedures on patients in hospitals. This advanced new technology benefits patients by making surgery less invasive and reducing the risk of infection. Connecting to the internet however creates security risks and challenges for the devices, the applications they interact with as well as the data. With patient safety top of mind, the customer sought a solution that would both protect the transfer and receipt of critical data and surgical instructions as well as provide strong authentication and guarantee the integrity of the medical device itself. Working closely with the customer’s project team, nCipher and Device Authority have been able to provide a solution that meets integration and security needs, as well provide enhanced features to support both online and offline processing. Darron Antill, Chief Executive Officer, Device Authority says: “Patient safety, data confidentiality, risk control and adhering to compliance requirements such as HIPAA are all important when deploying connected medical devices. KeyScaler is a leading software platform which can solve all these challenges with its device-bound data security which is relevant for many Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) use cases. We are excited to secure this long-term contract alongside our strategic partner nCipher and look forward to many more,” said Darron Antill, CEO of Device Authority. With IoMT solutions being in use for extended periods of time (5-10 years or more), it is essential to be able to support the solutions of today, as well as adapt for the challenges of tomorrow. Device Authority and nCipher can provide a new level of assurance, as well as bring innovative solutions that solve the challenges of the evolving medical security landscape. 31/1/2019 11:52 | bobdown2, imo they know .. lots of people are well paid to do this research .. the biggest problem in a tight market is how to buy in without making it obvious .. small ish amounts will drive it up .. add to that the potential forced closing of a Short position and we have the recipe for a very tight bull squeeze .. my opinion only nai | moneymaker6
