investing isn't all in a snapshot of time, it is the final outcome when you go to sell the investment. We can all be right and wrong many times along the way

My attitude here has been the same since I started buying into TERN for a long term investment.

Lesson From The Best

Mr Buffet says:

To be a successful investor in the stock market you have a strategy don't swing at everything thrown at you if you don't understand the business don't invest and when you do understand the business then foresee the potential and then only then you execute, during the investment pregnancy you need discipline, patience and stomach to see it through don't abort as long as the facts are intact and these are the key factors between success and failure!!!
Another lesson - he would state look for value especially when a stock looks out of favour, as value always comes good.

Do the research, ask when you don't understand (but make sure you ask people that do understand) and drip feed the buys in to average the buy-in price (I also cap the buy price, so I wait when the price spikes and then buy more when it drops). I also have great fun trying to buy the bottom of each trough.

So I can't look back in hindsight and say at any time I wish I had bought or I wish I had sold, as I would never be happy.....

I have made an investment decision and I question that all the time, but if I still find the investment compelling, I will carry on with it.

That is where I am at the moment, so why not come back just before Christmas 2018 and we will see how we fare then....
Hopefully sat above 50p plus :)
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend

No word from the Muppets about their Mogul and his 2m bed and SIPP, I reckon he read the acronym in the Sun and thought he would impress the " guys" with it.

Well I do like a chart and I hope lots buy in on a golden cross, but they are a bit of a late signal for me. I have many Sma on my charts 8 crossing a 20 is the first I look for. But then again there wasn’t much screaming buy in the high twos and threes when it was fill your boots time. What they will do is confirm I should be adding to a winning position. A chart is not a substitute for knowledge of a stock and knowledge is not a reason to ignore a chart you have got to balance the two. Keep buying!

The last time I had a stock with a golden cross was over 10 years ago the stock was called vislink and it shot up from 8p to 36p in weeks.

I wonder why Loughton feels it necessary to pay his own cryptocurrency to promote his posts.
Hows the Jet these days, taken it out of late, will it be a another trip to where was it now Cayman or Canvey?

By the way if you wanted to add me to the 'shares in safe hands list' and not selling until take out I'm up to 970K. Watched with interest for 3 years, bought between 10-25p, sold quite a few on the way down (at a loss) between 5.5-15p and thankfully bought the bulk back between 3-5p once the tide turned. If I get the chance I will add a further 30K on any weakness next week to round up to a nice rounded figure. And as I keep telling myself that really is it! We really could have a turbo-charged ASOS in the making here. GLA! It's been a long time coming.

Must admit I’ve been following the moving averages too and we are SO close to a golden cross. It doesn’t happen very often! And hasn’t been possible for quite a while on the tern chart!
A chartist once told me the best time to get in is before it’s obvious it’s going to happen. And here we can see it’s only a few days away - another excuse for a top up today:

I'm looking forward to any "hints" from him tomorrow at the UK Investors' Meeting, or at the AGM next week. In summary, we will I believe witness a "class act" and go "wow, how extraordinary!" - and be really chuffed, and very rich as a result.

EByes the golden cross is coming into play that's a very bullish signal indeed.Combined with the new year high, the stock could propel next week. Also with buyers lined up, AGM, investor call - it all bodes well for an exciting week next week
