26/4/2012 22:42 | TeleCity closed at an all-time high, shifting up 24p to 813p, after results from Stateside rival Equinix earlier in the week beat Wall Street's forecasts. Espirito Santo, which reiterated Telecity's "buy" rating, said the figures showed that "the supply demand environment remains favourable", although it was not enough to persuade Liberum Capital's William Shirley to change his "sell" recommendation. 20/4/2012 14:25 | I've been thinking that too ryandj2222, so I've just finished cashing out. However, still very much like the sector and will buy back in on any pullback. As they say, a profit is not a profit until its in the bank, and I don't want the market to take away a very tidy profit, plus the IMS is due shortly and don't want to get caught in any 'sell the news' reaction. Also in CSFG too, check this out for a far-east data centre play (I hold). All IMHO of course, DYOR etc. | itchycrack
20/4/2012 13:40 | Nice move up to £8. Doesn't seem long since it broke through £6! Chart is starting to look very steep though. Pull back coming soon? | ryandj2222

26/3/2012 14:19 | Hi shuisky, will need a large and well funded buyer such as a large infrastructure fund. | spacecake
26/3/2012 13:29 | Spacecake, the sector has been hot recently so I don't think there is anything out of line about Equinix's performance. As for Telecity, I'm coming round to the view that this really is a prime takeover candidate. The more the US sector goes up, the more attractive it is just to buy TCY. | shuisky
21/3/2012 22:52 | Any views on Equinix share price, seems to have a rocket under it for the last few weeks. | spacecake
15/3/2012 15:57 | TelecityGroup, Europe's industry-leading provider of premium carrier-neutral data centres, announced today that all its data centres in France have been recertified with the ISO 27001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 accreditations. | m.t.glass
14/3/2012 08:54 | Berenberg today reiterates 'buy' and increases tp from 800p to 900p | philanderer
05/3/2012 13:35 | Seems like good support at 700 so far! | ryandj2222
29/2/2012 10:02 | Minor technical issue they had with oversensitive trip switches (now resolved) came in overnight news alerts (at 8:19am), which might explain this morning's little dip. (that doesn't name Telecity as the customer, but the Google News link does - which perhaps indicates that PSElectricals have amended their overnight wording but Google is still linked to previous wording: "..Telecity have been experiencing nuisance tripping within their infrastructure UK wide and have taken the decision to replace the Merlin Gerin STR trip unit with the new generation ETC12Q...") None of which has dissuaded Standard Life from upping their stake to more than 6%, and I don't imagine will bother anyone else either. I know someone who works for PS at Droitwich. I don't imagine Telecity will be best pleased at them indiscretely giving out the Telecity name on their website News page, if that's what they did. | m.t.glass
17/2/2012 19:50 | Wondering why it fell today after such a strong start - profit taking from those who got in a few weeks ago? Zizou | zizou26
17/2/2012 06:50 | Broke 700p intraday yesterday. We should get through that hurdle today. | painter
14/2/2012 13:27 | Thanks painter and, I agree with your view. The interesting thing about the diversification in application type is that they are capable of strong growth. Financial transactions will grow as he World gets more interconnected. Content will grow strongly as companies expand their online activities and things like social networks expand. Cloud computing is an obvious growth area. A well run company IMHO. | shuisky
14/2/2012 13:06 | Good find shuisky and I agree TCY is still cheap. I don't buy into the "supply glut" arguement anytime soon, M&A in this sector is more likely in the short term in my view. Interesting breakdown of new customer wins by application type. Financial departments look to have worked out that they can circumvent their own IT departments by using cloud computing. Circumventing IT departments is a favourite game in all financial departments as they can never keep up with new requirements in a timely manner. | painter |
