Good RNS. Seems little risk of downside from here. More likely a multibagger, especially if the cutting edge technology finds it's niche. Gla.

Why? It's a lossmaking recycling company, well 49% of a lossmaking recycling company.Oh and a high risk mining company with no JORC compliant material.I'm surprised it hasn't fallen a lot further.

Technology Minerals PLC said Tuesday that its battery-recycling business Recyclus Group Ltd. has been granted an environmental permit by the U.K.'s Environment Agency.

The battery-metals company, which owns 49% of Recyclus Group, said the permit is aimed at its lead-acid battery recycling plant in Tipton, England, for a hazardous-waste installation, primarily involved in the treatment and processing of lead-acid batteries.

"The granting of the EA permit is a crucial step forward and will enable Recyclus to proceed with obtaining the required sub-licenses to commence operations at the Tipton site," Chairman Robin Brundle said.

Shares at 0715 GMT were up 0.18 pence, or 5.4%, at 3.63 pence.

Todays news
Technology Minerals Plc (LSE: TM1), the first listed UK company focused on creating a sustainable circular economy for battery metals is pleased to announce that the Environment Agency ("EA") has awarded its 49% owned battery recycling business, Recyclus Group Ltd ("Recyclus"), an environmental permit at its lead-acid battery recycling plant in Tipton, West Midlands for a hazardous waste installation, primarily involved in the treatment and processing of lead-acid batteries.

The EA permit allows for the treatment and processing of lead-acid batteries on-site and provides the critical legal foundation to complete the sub-licences that will enable operations to commence at Tipton.

The Tipton plant aims to support Recyclus' ambition to increase the Company's total lead-acid battery recycling production capacity from an estimated 16,000 tonnes in the first full year of production, to circa 80,000 tonnes by 2027. The Tipton plant is designed to process up to 12 tonnes an hour of lead-acid batteries and has a fully automated system.

In addition, Recyclus has successfully completed stage one of the audit process for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications, a global standard for Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. Recyclus will now proceed to the final stage and, subject to successfully completing the audit process, will be certified.

Robin Brundle, Chairman of Technology Minerals, said: "The granting of the EA permit is a crucial step forward and will enable Recyclus to proceed with obtaining the required sub-licences to commence operations at the Tipton site. The team has been preparing to ensure that we are positioned to ramp up production when the site becomes fully operational. The opening of this plant at Tipton is a key milestone for us at Recyclus and our strategy to open ten plants over the next six years."

The spread is so big as MMS need stock of you notice two big sales at 3.10 then the price went up, why you ask? because they had already sold the shares and were waiting for someone to sell so they don’t lose money in the transaction, there have already been some small buys at around 3.4 before big buys at 3.5, they will now move price up to fill those buys imho dyor 40 years of watching this, they move prices down to panic people into thinking it’s falling, they will want stock themselves before taking higher, who wouldn’t imho dyor

There’s a reason Tesla are looking at buying anything Lithium and Nickel related, there is nowhere near enough supply to make electric cars for everyone, this will make the cars more expensive as the cost of making the components increases in price with demand

Dr O'Connor argues that new mines will not be able to open quickly enough to satisfy rising demand for nickel, which is also used to make stainless steel and wind turbine components. Instead, recycling old batteries will help to "patch" that supply problem, she suggests.
Other companies are also taking this approach, with Redwood Materials in the US already acquiring batteries from the equivalent of between 60-80,000 electric vehicles every year.
"We recover, on average, 95% of the elements from batteries, like nickel, cobalt, lithium and copper," says vice president for communications and government relations, Alexis Georgeson.
