26/6/2019 20:34 | It's advfn stupidity. Put a capital somewhere in the https (e.g. hTTps) and it will work. | effortless cool
26/6/2019 20:02 | Don't know why but to get the link to load you have to replace the xx for tt's | lasmo
26/6/2019 20:00 | hxxps://data-economy Video from the Vice President of Google, responsible for data centres, who is attending the COMMS INFRA Summit this week. The piece at the end where he says that a lack of talent in the sector is the main challenge for the industry is very telling. The fact that TClarke has track record with Google is really exciting. | lasmo

24/6/2019 08:21 | This was covered in the mello presentation, rivaldo - did you see that? Yes, this is good coverage; I am overweight here and no plans to go on a diet! :)) | edmundshaw
23/6/2019 22:59 | Excellent. I'm particularly liking the part about data centres: "T Clarke supplies these huge sites with the cables and wires that make them tick and there is so much demand for the firm's services that Lawrence is opening up in Europe. The firm intends to help customers to build data centres in Finland, Spain and the Netherlands" | rivaldo
23/6/2019 10:48 | That should give it a nice tick up on Monday | cc2014

17/6/2019 15:44 | It's alright for some ? Unfortunately for me I'm stuck in work either way and I can't help but keep an eye on movements. I'm my own worst enemy at times... | squarepeg86
17/6/2019 15:43 | Thanks Tomps2 for the Mello Presentation. All very encouraging. One niggle is the response to the question of the dividend since the 2008/9 downturn. Had it been cut ? I seemed to hear from Mark that it had not been cut. In fact the div was 13p per share in 2008/9 and now is 4p. In the meantime directors pay has more than doubled. I wonder whether the 130 year anniversary will warrant a special div , say, 5p, although they need to keep the balance sheet healthy to cope with Data Centre orders/Pension Fund. Otherwise share price is pretty encouraging after such a heady rise. | tuscan4
17/6/2019 14:31 | I agree it's frustrating Squarepegs but tbh I'm only fed up because the weather has been so lousy for the last three weeks and I'm watching the screen. There's plenty for me to do outside but it's just not warm enough and too windy to motivate me to move from my desk. Best to come back when the interims come out which I think we already know won't show any surprises but by the same measure the directors will say them are on track for year end and the following year. | cc2014
17/6/2019 13:14 | It is very frustrating, only the other week people would have been snapping them up at this price! I'm still surprised that it's stayed at this level for so long now. Hopefully we'll see people buying as we get closer to the August half year results. | squarepeg86
17/6/2019 11:19 | This stock is doing my head in again. There's a 25k iceberg at 115 which comes back when it is hit. It's been there for a week or 10 days now. It doesn't seem inclined to move like it's a limit order for someone who's told their broker I'll pay 115 and no more. Oh well. I guess it means the price won't go lower. | cc2014
17/6/2019 08:23 | TClarke presentation Mello May 19 by CEO&FD A very comprehensive overview, with financials, current market expectations, their markets & selection of current projects etc | tomps2

14/6/2019 10:34 | This is the one I like Lasmo. We can see the icon on Finland! | cc2014
14/6/2019 10:30 | lol. Well I kind of agree and don't agree. MOGP's turnover is £12m and CTO do data centres larger than that in one job so we are talking entirely different scale, but I guess if MOGP are making good money it follows all their peer group should be making good money. It's certainly the growth sector right now and you can't beat the spread on CTO for it's market cap. As an aside I have no idea what is going on with the trades as one would think with a 53k sell going through at 115.25 their would be no support on the bid yet I can sell 30k within the spread and if you want to trade 10k, the price is 115.65 to sell and 116.49 to buy. I assume it's a sell as the price hasn't gone low enough for it to be a buy and I have to guess it's a worked order that the MM have been sitting on for some time which is now complete and explains why the price has not been rising. I dunno. Maybe we will get a corresponding decent sized buy being reported late too. | cc2014
14/6/2019 10:08 | MOGP results are a good read across for CTO which operates in similar data centre refits.... CTO easier to trade, smaller spread and pays a divi, plus has other verticals and is also still 'cheap'. IMO | owenski
11/6/2019 09:43 | The FTSE has turned up the last couple of days but CTO lagging. Whoever has been getting up and selling stock every morning appears to have finished at last. Today we have 6 buys so far so I guess the MM had a bit of stock left over from the last weeks sellng to shift. I'm not really bothered as I'll still be here for years to come and any short term movments are unimportant but it would be nice to see it turn back up. As long as the buys keep coming the MM will run out of stock at some point. | cc2014
10/6/2019 08:11 | Well whoever it is they allowed me to buy at bargain prices,,,,IMO I thought CTO was undervalued at 140 so happy to keep buying down here | cheshire man
09/6/2019 15:37 | Can't see any woodford funds in the major shareholders list. I wonder if Milton have started off-loading again ? they hold just under 10% of the company. maybe some of Milton clients have been spooked by Woodford debacle and starting to offload, forcing Milton to sell, these kind of things can cause a dominoes effect. Ps Surely Woodford shouldn't be able to charge fund fees if the clients can't even buy or sell out of the fund ?, he makes millions in fees from clients, £244 on average from each client a year. not bad for losing clients money. | igoe104
09/6/2019 11:19 | A couple of big trades on Friday causing the dip, anyone know if Woodford had a stake ? not that it matters to me just wondering who sold | cheshire man |
