Just looking at T Clarke twitter feed, looks like they are targeting six European counties for Data Centre Projects.

Just spotted the RNS re the name change. Here we go, I thought, something more flashy at last! Dust down the rocket emojis...TClarke Blockchain or maybe TClarke Graphene. But it's just plain old: TClarke PLC. Oh well...steady as she goes...

My interpretation of the EU office... Being as CTO have tier 1 clients, it looks like these clients are moving some facilities from UK to Europe due to Brexit and are taking Clarkes with them for the fit outs, so the regional EU office makes sense. Could also prove be a good bridgehead.

Not a bad place to park ones money, hardly a demanding rating and thus downside looks supported. Their risk aversion to project work is reassuring. Interesting growth area of smart building and associated project work is a bonus and will be exciting to see how this grows.

Opening an office in EU, plus offices opened in UK regional areas to support clients and gain work is suggestive of a growing order book going forward.

Margin improvement is their aim and so far they're executing well.

Decent enough and growing divi in the meantime, plus it looks like a circa 20% growth on EPS expected this year on a sub 10 PE rating... Suggests a bit of value here.

imo

N+1 Singer retain their 17.5p EPS and 4.4p dividend forecasts for this year, and have some interesting commentary about the European expansion for Technologies:

"TClarke is pursuing opportunities for its Technologies business in western Europe, establishing a new subsidiary, TClarke Europe Limited. This decision was driven by demand from its existing large multi-national clients. A European presence
potentially represents a significant opportunity for the Group, with data centre projects often worth £25m-£30m. Project wins here would represent upside to our forecasts. Again, the Group will maintain a disciplined approach to contract tendering and risk management in this region."

I think Eton is potentially, eighteen months down the road, worth all of the current market capitalization, leaving the bulk of the groups remaining, and traditional, business in for nothing.
Status change could be under way. Further upside IMO.

Technology strategy is the key. Don’t forget Eton’s order book quadrupled last year to £40m. 3% margin target is too low in my opinion. I’d like to see 5% as Eton’s businesses continues to grow.

Excellent AGM statement with a very positive outlook, and order books hugely up on last year and essentially stable since the year end.

Great to see a company actually set out the expectations for a change - 17.5p EPS should bring home to people the miserly rating CTO is on.

And VERY encouraging to see the expansion into Europe for the Technologies division....

Clearly technology led strategy is gaining traction.
Let’s hope tomorrow’s AGM gives some insight into how this is translating into better margins.

LOL - "wiggly lines" - that tickled me.

Seriously, like you, I have been surprised at the resilience of the share price - had expected it to come back a bit.

Think the market is warming to them carving out a higher margin niche in the Technologies area, and I suspect a more aggressive dividend policy in the coming years.

Might well go further based on the AGM statement - they are advertising their attendance at Mello - suggests further good news - fingers crossed.

I've been quite surprised how well the share price has held up over the last few weeks given the rise since November. Not because I want it to go down or not because I don't believe the share price is still undervalued but more because those who trade on the wiggly lines tend to make these things happen.

I've been looking through the trades and it's clear we have both a buyer and a seller fighting it out.

The sellers trades probably look like this:
26/4 25k at 125
30/4 50k at 125.5
2/5 50k at 127.5
3/5 50k at 127.5
7/5 62.5k at 127.5
There may be more depending on how deep you want to look at the trades.

Set against this there seems to be a large buyer paying around 130p. I guess they want in before the AGM on Friday but who's to say. It's all interesting as I sit watching from the sidelines. The seller will run out eventually. Hard to say how many they have left.

News of a "major M&E contract" win:

"TClarke wins iconic Colston Hall music venue in Bristol

1/5/19: TClarke has won the M&E package for the transformation of Bristol’s iconic entertainment venue, Colston Hall. Rob Faro, TClarke MD for the South West, sets out the project’s significance.

Colston Hall is a big win for us; significant for its scale, complexity of the engineering and our opportunity for early engagement. This is one of the region’s major M&E contracts where once again we are working in partnership with Willmott Dixon.

This is a full MEP installation, including specialist stage lighting and AV containment, life safety systems and data. As a world class music and performance venue the ventilation, heating and cooling require particularly fine control to deliver the perfect user experience, this is where our expertise in technology sets us apart from our competition.

Colston Hall was opened just a few years before TClarke’s ground-breaking first electrical installation in the Savoy Theatre, we are still breaking new ground with technology and innovation in entertainment venues just like this.

etc"
