07/4/2021 16:32 | 1carus, "I am expecting similar movement as the feel good factor washes over the UK during the summer" The Housing market/economy is being supported by the govn. Stamp Duty hol/furlough were extended to Sept, so we'll be in the similar position as pre-Budget during summer. What happens when govn support ends? | sikhthetech
07/4/2021 16:22 | 1carus, maxed out is an understatement, My general feeling is like most companies there was a slow down & people holding off from purchasing due to Brexit, whilst covid has had some impact on some industries others like myself have never been busier, Now we are clear of Brexit & there is light at the end of the tunnel with Covid then I can only see the markets & economy going one way & that is up, At the moment we are working 7 days a week until 10 oclock plus at night, have been since last year & at the moment see know sign of things easing off for at least six months, though looking at current enquiries I think it will last a lot longer than that, Whilst in the past I was happy to win 50% of inquiries, now we are winning every job we quote. | jugears
07/4/2021 16:09 | Good thinking, 1carus. I like the classical analogy. Good luck. | mayers
07/4/2021 15:28 | Mayers, I chose that user name for that very reason. To remind me to not act impulsively when investing. | 1carus
07/4/2021 15:26 | User', I am a long term investor so generally thinking 3 months is short term for me. That said, although today may be a blip, welcome as it is, this share has a nasty habit of moving quickly when it does and it kinda feels like that again. It has jumped from £2 to £2.20 quite quickly in the past and I am expecting similar movement as the feel good factor washes over the UK during the summer. Jug has not posted so much on here recently, I am hoping he is currently maxed out trying out how to supply his demand book. Also, I have been looking at new build projects up here in scotland in my area, West Lothian, most new builds are getting sold off plan before they have laid a brick on the site.... go figure! | 1carus
07/4/2021 15:19 | 'Don't fly too close to the sun', 1carus:-) | mayers
07/4/2021 15:10 | Hi 1carus, When you say it's going to fly do you mean today,or the next few days or the next few weeks? Thanks! | user859537
07/4/2021 13:15 | This feels like it is gonna fly. | 1carus
07/4/2021 10:53 | Day traders quick to grab a profit, but expect these to hit £2-00 in summer. | martyn9
07/4/2021 10:11 | Great day. | craftyale
07/4/2021 08:46 | Very nice. 200p here we come :-) I was up in Northumberland last week. There were some very big TW sites it must be said! | tlobs2
06/4/2021 09:45 | I see Mr £2.64 is back... Fingers crossed you make it this time ;)) | wfl1970
06/4/2021 08:24 | Well it's not the MMs because it's AT traded :)) | gbh2
06/4/2021 08:20 | Or it could be the fact that the uk housing market is still very strong, Tw are very under valued, & good dividend prospects in the future, worth £2.64 IMO | jugears
06/4/2021 00:18 | This is the first time l,ve ever seen this rise on ex dividend day.Lots of punters would have shorted this as a sure bet so the mm's make it rise and make lots of money for their mates. | peteret
02/4/2021 10:47 | Millwallfan .... this does indeed feel like a first... glad I held now. | 1carus
01/4/2021 20:53 | For the price to go up on ex divi day is quite unusual and surely signals confidence in the future. Many shares drop dividend plus 10-20% on ex divi so I am very pleased to have held, will collect the dividend mid May and look to top slice a few circa £1.90 as my average is £1.41 - mustn’t be greedy | millwallfan
01/4/2021 17:12 | Cool dude :) | growthpotential
01/4/2021 14:14 | I had an ave share price of 171p so anything around 181 was good enough for me. | gbh2
01/4/2021 13:44 | GrowthP, I was discussing it but didn't do that. 185 and I may have been tempted. | 1carus
01/4/2021 12:30 | I sold just over half my holding this last two weeks, just my ring fenced holding will attract the dividend the rest of the cash went into cmcx. | gbh2
01/4/2021 12:22 | Where's the guy that sold half his shares :O | growthpotential
01/4/2021 12:09 | A pleasant surprise with the share price holding up today(so far) held tw shares 14 yrs and this must be a first where ex-div day the price has not fallen. | martyn9
01/4/2021 11:38 | Glad I held now. I expect these to push on up to the 2.20 levels from here which I have long thought a fair price. Brexit seems to be defying it's critics and it looks like blighty is going to recover quickly and strongly from the pandemic in comparison to Europe. More luck than good judgement I feel, but that's the way it is. | 1carus |
