It's looking like a no deal nailed on,but what a sad state of affairs for a uk/eu outcome. No winners with such a result.

Tiny - and decreasing - volumes the past few days, across the market generally, as we await the white/black smoke. As such, the movements are fairly meaningless, and just offer the chance for a few quid. Rude not too...

I'm currently waiting for LLOYDS record a 6% drop, I started buying at -2% then -4% these are in place of yesterday's TW sales.

I've had three filled so far, matching the three sales yesterday around 162. Sourced from miniscule profit POLY sales (purchased yesterday with TW. sales).

Arbitrage between UK housebuilders and Russian gold miners - you know it makes sense, there will be an investment tome about it one day...

;-)

It's not just about fish.

As part of a deal, the EU want UK to follow EU competition laws. eg UK govn is not permitted to subsidise UK companies which will disadvantage EU companies.

If you respect the referendum then you need to respect that UK must be able to make it's own decisions over it's laws.
EU needs to respect UK sovereignty.

If EU countries are desperate for UK fish then I'm sure they will pay for it. If demand increases then UK fishing industry will benefit.

Battle of wills between Macron and Boris over fishing, even though it is tiny in terms of GDP for both. Boris can't because it was a cornerstone for brexit and Macron can't because he's trying show strength for upcoming French election. It's stalemate.

WFL, france has openly stated in the last few days they would veto any arrangement they are not happy with ,unlike the rest of the 26 nations in the EU.
My point is the leader macron and his partie are totally obstanate.imho

Martyn,

If you respect the result of the referendum, why do you not respect the casting votes over a deal?

The problem is just that omg48, france will no doubt veto any agreement that's put on the table purely out of spite than logic.

Not so sure Baracuda2. Seems to be a lot of fluff for the media and then we end up with a surprise fantastic deal

Positive news on a Brexit deal and I can see this rocketing. A deal would guarantee no effects to building materials. TW have already stockpiled some materials so immediate effect would be negated.
