24/9/2005 20:52 | when can you exercise the warrants e? | ianwc
23/9/2005 17:24 | Reading between the lines of DVSG (sunlight) interims, not all in garden is rosy. Wage and energy bills account for nearly 50% of p&l spend and these are increasing (oil & min wage), there is only so much 'cost saving' you can achieve and NHS contract margins are wafer. How much price pressure can a business take without something giving. SYR are not immune, they have exposure. SYR wants to tread carefully, I cannot see the NHS taking the Shiloh takeover lying down. | blueliner
23/9/2005 13:36 | I wonder if ti will crack 500p before the results. Possibly unlikely, and the results may not show the the potential growth, but will remain one of my core long holds. | johnrxx99
23/9/2005 13:33 | Even nicer!!! | johnrxx99
21/9/2005 16:28 | Topping up on weakness: nice. | johnrxx99
21/9/2005 16:14 | Judging from the chart we should be due another leg up any time soon. Just about on the bottom trend line. | mpjsb1
19/9/2005 21:53 | moved up AGAIN TODAY... SUBJECT: Interesting Times Ahead Posted By: Minefinder1 Post Time: 9/14/05 13:01 SYR has same senior management team as PTM and MAG, both of whom have established reputations as solid explorers with the ability to make significant discoveries, promote opportunities and more importantly provide shareholders with solid returns on investment. With the new acquisition in Timmins and some solid earlier stage projects in Mexico it should be a very interesting few months for SYR. Lake Shore apparently spent four months chasing the Northshore project but couldn't reach and agreement with the vendors so while they will likely dismiss it publically they aslo saw value in this block of ground - value which will now accrue to SYR shareholders. Looking forward to the ride! | energyi
15/9/2005 09:17 | Good write-up in Sh@res mag on the back of recent director buys. "Synergy has an enviable record with compound growth of 74% over the last 5 years. It provides about 25% of outsources laundry services to the NHS". Growth in Holland is taking off and although share price growth will not be too dramatic, a quality company and management imo in a growth industry. An average of 17.4% eps growth estimated but company has exceeded expectations for a number of years and with recent contract wins, Holland, Shiloh prospects and director buys, this should continue and I expect at least 30% growth. 20/7/2005 17:51 | OLD NEWS... relevant in the near future?? Press Release out today January 5, 2005. Apparently the central pit area and Trench 5 are in the same general area. These are good gold results (open-pittable grades) in two parallel trenches located some 15 to 20 meters apart. Silver assays are still pending. Montana de Oro area - Southern Sonora State Hand trench samples from shallow trenches produced the following continuous intercepts: central pit -- 18.29 metres -- 2.53 grams per tonne gold trench 5 -- 14.95 metres -- 3.04 grams per tonne gold trench 2 -- 6.74 metres -- 0.37 gram per tonne gold trench 4 -- 4.50 metres -- 0.32 gram per tonne gold trench 8 -- 2.40 metres -- 1.36 grams per tonne gold Evidently trenches will be extended when heavy equipment is available. Trenching results look quite promising. Keep your eyes on this one. Best 'o luck to y'all this new year @: | energyi
11/7/2005 11:42 | SOME GOOD POTENTIAL here too: Baboyahui Project, Sonora In the Montaña de Oro Prospect Area, located in the southeast quadrant of the Baboyahui Mineral Reserve (See NR 05-01, January 5th, 2005) detailed mapping and sampling indicates that gold mineralization is related to an extensive regional system of quartz veining, breccia and stockworks developed around the margins of individual intrusive bodies related to the regional Sonora-Sinaloa Batholith. Regional prospecting and preliminary mapping 1 km northwest of the original Montaña de Oro discovery area has outlined a 700 metre wide by +1100 metre long area of strongly anomalous gold mineralization. Forty of 53 rock chip samples, ranging from 30 cm to 3.00 metres in length, collected from this northeast trending corridor returned anomalous gold values above 100 ppb Au. Twelve samples, broadly scattered from throughout this corridor, returned values of > 1 g/t Au with a high of 6.65 g/t Au over 50 cm. Individual grab samples from quartz vein systems and prospect pits in this area have returned grades ranging from below detection to a high of 35.50 g/t Au and 45.60 g/t Ag. The mineralized corridor remains open to the northeast outside the area sampled to date and beneath thin Upper Tertiary volcanic cover to the southwest. Mineralization is associated with quartz veining, silica stockworks and breccia zones hosted within an andesitic volcanic sequence. Several small, Tertiary-aged, rhyolitic stocks have been mapped in close proximity to these new discoveries. A trenching program designed to more thoroughly evaluate the potential of this new discovery is scheduled to commence within the next 10 days. | energyi
11/7/2005 10:40 | SUBJECT: Good start: Not world-beating Posted By: ukboard Post Time: 7/11/05 06:36 Drillhole : From - to M's Inter. x grade LS05-01 : 76.35- 81.00 4.65 x 1.12 = 5.2 LS05-09 : 82.50-102.75 20.2 x 0.47 = 9.5 | energyi
11/7/2005 10:29 | La Sabina Project, Sonora Sydney completed a nine hole, 1660 meter diamond drilling program at La Sabina in June. The drill program (see Table below) intersected, over the north central portion of the area tested, three sub parallel vein/alteration systems - Contact, Fundadora and Fabulosa - which are localized within a regional extensive NW-striking 75o SW-dipping, basin and range-type fault system. Drilling indicates that these three systems merge into a single broader zone of mineralization to the southeast which was intersected by hole 9 of the current program. Drill hole LS05-09 intersected 6 zones of anomalous gold mineralization, ranging from 0.24 to 0.82 g/t Au, over a core length of 137.9 metres. Hole LS05-09 did not reach the granodiorite/volcani @: | energyi
30/6/2005 10:15 | noshy - they are expensive but are in the right market, well run, expanding in europe and solid unbroken growth since they floated. Been in them since 160p (although was stopped out in the recent dip) and see no reason not to buy on the further dips. | johnrxx99
30/6/2005 09:50 | They've just announced the takeover of Shiloh, another small company in the same business. Shiloh, as far as I can see, has been rather badly run for years. This takes out a competitor and should be earnings enhancing (I guess) when Synergy have sorted it out. So I think it's probably very good news. | diogenesj
30/6/2005 08:15 | been away and back to a new high............why? | noshy
19/5/2005 10:10 | A few other snippets:- "Net funds after deducting debt relating to finance leases and loans totals £2.9 million, compared with £4.3 million last year, prior to the acquisition. The group enters 2005 with a healthy cash position, no net debt and a strong balance sheet." "UK profits grew organically by 17% from £4.1 million to £4.8 million and net margin before goodwill amortisation rose from 12.7% to 13.5%." "The company intends to increase the level of resource allocated to R&D to further progress the development of the Group. The investment will be primarily focused on further developments in decontamination technology." "The new financial year has begun well with good underlying activity levels plus the start of new contracts. With a growing forward order book, and stable margins we confidently look forward to another positive year for the Group." A solid company in an expanding sector where the NHS is focusing efforts to beat the spread of bugs and improve quality and efficency. A buy IMO DYOR. | johnrxx99
