Call me delusional, but I think you're all way too low. This is a treatment for a global pandemic, not to mention many other conditions. IF it works it is worth many many billions. Assuming bidders got the company appear, if it sells for less than £10 I'd be amazed. But all IMHO, obviously. Time will tell who is right...

No chance this will be taken over for £3. The minimum at the moment I reckon is £5 and that could be revised up next week depending what happens to the price!

I am confident this will break through £2.20 in the near future and could even go to £2.50

We are in a situation here that none of us have ever dreamed of or brokers, companies or governments this can’t go anywhere from here but up massively.

Lots of us have bought and are holding many millions of shares now between us, personally I am holding for the conclusion, no trading for me.

I love all the different theories we have it what makes investing fun apart from the dosh and the buzz watching the trades flying through and you learn so much reading other posters.

However it turns out we will all be winners.

If I were a major Pharma I would be spending the weekend working on a bid of £3 to beat any others to it. NO doubt though there will be a hige bidding war if that happened.

Isn't suspensión highly unusual ? When Rowntree was aggressively targeted by Nestles and Suchard there were several rounds of bidding over several months but the shares were not suspended .

Simon, afraid I don't agree. Once one predator breaks cover with a bid all hell breaks loose as all the majors get in on the action. I think the 'suspension as a result of a bidding war' is much more likely, with a return to trading very significantly above whatever the price was at suspension.

I would much prefer a takeover as deciding when to slice on the way up will be tricky!

I was thinking we will see £10 in next two weeks and will never get any higher as we will be taken out.

Think an offer will come in before end of next week if not before.

I think that's a major point is what else it can treat beyond Covid. It's massive and I'm sure we won't have to wait too much longer for COPD results and I imagine they'll be under pressure to release especially to confirm its safety (delivery-wise). I can see a flurry of buying early doors Monday and new highs to be quickly smashed.

A global treatment for covid (not to mention COPD and other respiratory illnesses / diseases) is worth a lot more than £2bn. I think your decimal point is in the wrong place...

The Guardian mentioned it briefly while writing about the big Pharmaceuticals and vaccines today.
