18/9/2024 06:22 | They're obviously more forward thinking than Simon Thompson. He's about as forward thinking as an Italian WW2 tank crew. | bahiflyer

15/9/2024 06:18 | Morning all just bought some on Friday, as my existing investment in a mining company is in the process of being bought out (cey). Looking to see how this mining operation will work out. | shayadfn
13/9/2024 14:16 | A seller in the background trying to bring the price down. On this dip and bounce, why try to sell so many shares whilst a rebound was happening. Even a genuine trader with no affinity to the stock couldve held out longer for a better price...so what's the game here? And no tr1 yet from any seller. | apfindley
13/9/2024 14:00 | Palladium up 10% over the month. | davebowler
13/9/2024 07:47 | Follow the chair - no one is closer to the facts than her! | wsm812
13/9/2024 06:07 | Ignore the fear mongers. That spike down was an excellent opportunity to load up. Miners mining palladium are currently unable to do so at a profit. Look at Sibanye Stillwater yesterday, they are cutting down on production. SLP is in a better position as its a metal recovery operation with lower overheads. I loaded up further in this AND i also have a long term 2026 call option on Sibanye (Sibanye is a good company but its like a tanker to turn around!). Global interest rates are going down and the USA seems determined to reduce rates sharply and that's very bullish for commodities. | farrugia
13/9/2024 06:03 | Sylvania (AIM: SLP), announces that it was notified on 12 September 2024 of the following transaction by Eileen Carr, Non-Executive Director and Chair: The purchase of 70,000 ordinary shares of $0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 44.85 pence per Ordinary Share on 12 September 2024. Following this transaction, her shareholding in the Company totals 200,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.08% of the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights. | masurenguy
12/9/2024 19:35 | Platinum and Palladium both up 5-6% today! | justiceforthemany
12/9/2024 19:06 | At the end of the day you either sit it out or throw in the towel with mining stocks I'm certainly not going to average down. I always adjust the risk by accepting every now and again you get a bad egg in the basket. I trade with a maximum risk of ten stocks at once, at the moment I only have four where most of my fund is cash getting 4% interest and no risk. It means if this is a bad egg and / or the market crashes I've got cash in reserve | creditcrunchies
12/9/2024 16:11 | I haven't read his article, but surely price manipulation.....if it can be proven that he's bought any shares on this drop.Massively undervalued when looking at the cash pile, the profitability even during commodity price slump, the thaba figures which will add a chunk of value, and the shares held in treasury.Yes the dividend has been sensibly cut this year, but they're still paying. Cash is king, preserve that cash, even if certain shareholders with their dividend noses in the air don't like it. | apfindley
12/9/2024 15:22 | I must thanks Simon Thompson for the most ridiculous advice ie to sell when you should hold. IF he had anything about him he'd have posted last month with a sell advice and a buy note now. As it is I am topping up No-one here is likely to be in profit, but an exceptional div two years ago should indicate that such days are possible again in say 12-18 months. | faz
12/9/2024 14:00 | Catalytic convertors will still be used as well - my post was in support of the continued use of PGMs - I could have made it clearer! | wsm812 |
