Interesting that around an hour after the indicative 4p spread was raised on this thread the indicative spread was reduced back to 2p and remained 2 or 3p for the rest of the day. :)) Ha Ha!

This will only interest those here interested in long term holdings and the detail. But sections 4.1 to 4.1.2, and section 7 worth a look. It's a DRAFT BASIC ASSESSMENT REPORT FOR THE PROPOSED TAILINGS STORAGE FACILITY EXPANSION AT SAMANCOR CHROME LIMITED- WESTERN CHROME MINES- MOOINOOI SECTION
I'm not sure I've seen this mentioned specifically by SLP.
It suggests the long term importance of Mooinooi to Samancor and the local and national economy. it perhaps also relates to the changes going on at Mooinooi,and how,why this may have been impacting ROM for several. ? If anyone has more knowledge and expertise on this, please share. Simple take on it, this mine will be operating for many years and SLP will be processing the tailings and ROM for many years too.

No volume and coincidently the spread is the same value as the dividend. It's not a good look for tomorrow but then again I am hoping for lower.

4p indicative spread is large, 2 or 3p is normal. ADVFN trades figures.

Far it's 4p and record day today, so you have to hold at cob today to get it.I personally think i'll make more buying post divi. There's not a lot of fundamental/ technical evidence on offer to suggest otherwise imo.

Key couple of days in terms of price action…how much will tomorrow’s ex dividend status affect the price ? Will yesterday’s digested interims influence. I reckon a 113p finish today..
