Of course, if you hold the alternative view, that PM's and Platinum in particular are still on a downward trajectory, you won't agree with this.

Fair play, because it takes many differing views to make a market.

..and I want your stock!

Same is true of absolutely any stock zac. Short termism and profit taking is all that's going on here, as you see repeated a thousand times a day on all stocks especially, as they begin their long run ups.

20p here we come..

Blue sky I agree with you and hope that this does the business but the last 2 weeks trading suggests there may be other issues that haven't been looked at the market had a knack of kicking you in the balls. I genuinely hope you make loads on this all I claim saying is be careful

iLeeman 7 Jul'16 - 09:57 - 281 of 326 3 0

Plat still 25% cheaper than gold, a long way to get yet.

aim chaos 7 Jul'16 - 15:19 - 282 of 326 2 0

Looking severely undervalued here still.

Rationale for investment here posted at at www.aimchaos.com.

Targeting 20p in the near term.

20p does not seem unreasonable.

Forced seller? ?? What does that even mean? ?? Dropping it now on a daily basis. ...

The fact that Miton was a forced seller, and their large holding was absorbed should give some confidence. They sold out at ~6.5p an initial slug. I look forward to decent results (but based purely on macro and my assumption that are decent operators and have not seen any announcement of any issues being experienced). I am not calling 15 / 20p any time soon, but feels like a buy or at the minimum a hold into results.

The question has to be - if all is going as well as might appear, why are several funds so keen to get out?

I don't think the share price gives you much of a clue as to the forthcoming results.

This stock price often dips madly before it rallies greatly.

It really is a yo yo, and I am content with Buying the dips, as I just have.

Just look at the assets value then the lowly Mcap. (£22m).

It looks like they are not expecting good results and a possible dividend (?).

Can't help feeling that they may dip the share price as a distraction before a bounce.

Fact that we have some large fluctuations in share price is nothing new and IMO is not cause for concern, at least we have some healthy volume to justify the share price movement (a bit) if you look at historic price swings and trade levels there was much less justification. MMs are greedy on this share and always have been. In the past it has been a bit leaky but I don't believe that this is the reason for the slide this time, most here have figured out the PoP and production will have positive effect, if and its a big if the funds are leaving on something we don't know it would be the planning/mining decision on the farms investment.
I have seen some clear scare tactics on these BB regards unions and so on, not an issue, even mitigation of hydro mining paying off to avoid truckers Union issues. We are a considered a miner (although I would argue that we should be a recycler) in the SA trouble zones and do have many risks associated with that but we have an excellent health and safety record and labor record. They are clearly a good employer and that says loads to me, if the management were going to rip off the little guys they would have started with the staff and that is not the case.
In these times, where 3 months is considered a long term hold, people are getting cold feet and there are many others waiting to benefit from that. Do your research and have confidence in your judgement.

Looks like a fairly typical retrace after a move up to me at the moment. Note the volume is generally lower than on the way up.

Something doesn't seem right and it seems the big boys have inside knowledge hence the sell off before results. ..I may be way of the mark but my experience tells me to be cautious. When something is too good to be true it usually is. ..year lows 5p? ?? I hope that I am wrong as I would hate for people to get shafted as I have been on the receiving end so many times. All I'm saying is be very very cautious. Bird In the hand etc....

Something about the price action is at odds with an improving platinum price and, seemingly, improved fundamental outlook for the company.

But, two funds are selling and aside from retail investors nobody is absorbing the slack.

There is no short selling going on here. It's just the big funds selling out of a holding that used to be worth more! It's good to see the sales are being absorbed by buying. When the selling stops SLP will fly.

The sales are very strange in current circumstances. Is the company under short selling attack or are Miton still distressed sellers or does somebody know something that we ordinary investors don't? I started buying these at 50p and believe that they are actually worth more now than they were then, on fundamentals. Roll on the annual results for more information.
