13/7/2016 13:03 | March results release was 26th April, so would guess late July ... | mnomis
13/7/2016 12:44 | It's in July Michael, but what date specifically is that please? | donald trumpton
13/7/2016 09:15 | With the Platinum price as it is now this must be one of the most undervalued stocks in the market imho. Roll on the 4th qtr figures due soon and final results a month later. Management have previously declared that they will start paying dividends if annual earnings exceed 8 million which may well be the case now? | michaeld
12/7/2016 09:31 | The Maths say that this share price should be a lot higher, but the Market seems to lack interest. The share price is 'what it is'. There are a lots of PIs waiting for that breakout, if you follow twitter? Are those distressed 'FUND' sellers still around? Was that last chart 'possible breakout signal' a false alert? Strange markets, do strange things, IMO. Still holding, but being careful, for now..... GLA. | dandadandan
12/7/2016 09:20 | The price of the shares is at variance with the price of the underlying commodity. In part this can be attributed to Miton, but one must wonder if that is the only cause. Surely funds seeking additional exposure at a distressed price would take up the slack from Miton in one swoop, but no sign of that. Then we had a sale by a second fund, though not sure if that was merely positioning. All rather strange for now...the results will reveal more. | yasx
11/7/2016 20:47 | Yeah Mcap unjustified | daybreakers
11/7/2016 19:26 | Try doing the maths - all relevant figures can be found in RNS's. | on target
11/7/2016 17:41 | How is it undervalued? Oh yes you're all sheep. Anyway. Plat up but not reflecting in share price another fund dumping I see. Junk. | daybreakers
11/7/2016 06:01 | 4 shares the pros are buying and selling 11th July 2016 | dice1950
11/7/2016 06:00 | UK smaller-companies fund manager Andrew Jackson has reduced his stake in platinum producer Sylvania Platinum(SLPL) 11th July 2016 | dice1950
10/7/2016 16:21 | Research on SLP posted last week: aimchaos.files.wordp SLP appears incredibly undervalued at the moment. Targeting 20p in near term. | aim chaos
10/7/2016 16:01 | Ashbox: thanks from me, too. That explains the situation with Miton very well, and good to have it in "chapter and verse". Clearly nothing stock-specific with SLP. And also worth noting that Platinum broke through 1100 post London close. | saucepan
09/7/2016 21:48 | Thanks for the info Ashbox; it makes me feel better about the situation. | michaeld
09/7/2016 12:14 | Expecting a strong week here next week ...platinum finished last week well - consolidated nicely around current 8p level ...next move into double digits ...I'm expecting 20p+ short term here ...gla | shokty
09/7/2016 11:26 | The usual caveats being it's a mining related company, it's subject to the price of precious metals, it's in South Africa, it's listed on AIM etc. etc. !! | ashbox
09/7/2016 11:23 | michael - are you aware of this? They will have had to sell liquid assets to meet redemptions and had a hell of a lot of SLP. That doesn't explain the Audley reduction but that was only a million shares, could be a similar reason of fund performance/redempti | ashbox
09/7/2016 09:53 | As a long time investor in SLP, starting with the share price at 50p, I am worried about the current share price It does not make sense for institutions to be offloading at the present time. Do they know something that we ordinary investors don't? Are management planning to take the company private, backed by these institutions for example? Of course I don't know what this management have in mind but I do know from experience that there are a lot of crooks operating in the field of small company plc's. Crooks that will take advantage of a situation for their own benefit rather than look after the best interests of the shareholders that they are supposed to be representing. Time will tell but I just hope hat this management will do their best for all shareholders. | michaeld
09/7/2016 01:39 | I've been Buying every dip of the last four days, hoping for a push north. Less of a gamble now, than it's been for a long time imho. | blue sky territory
08/7/2016 08:46 | Consildating for 4 days on previous resistance, usually a bullish sign. Get ready for the next push over coming days imo (60min chart) free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ileeman
07/7/2016 15:45 | Agree with the sentiment but, when the 'Market piper calls the tune, you respond', currently with caution. Some Funds need cash and there are sellers targeting SLP at around 8p. Look at the regular 100,000 sells that crop up through the day. Will the MMs raise the stakes? They are looking for buyers IMO. Being careful. GLA | dandadandan
07/7/2016 15:31 | 20p does not seem unreasonable. | someuwin
07/7/2016 15:19 | Looking severely undervalued here still. Rationale for investment here posted at at www.aimchaos.com. Targeting 20p in the near term. | aim chaos
07/7/2016 09:57 | Plat still 25% cheaper than gold, a long way to get yet. | ileeman |
