Just been reminded that SLP generates Platinum at about a tenth of what LMI achieve.
Now LMI share price is around £2, so should SLP be heading for 20p in comparison.

Plus no big SLP Mining labour dispute on the horizon.

It is all looking good.

It is time to break that resistance level IMO.

Heading for 12p for starters?

Checking in after few days, looking great leading up to results on October, plus platinum back over $1100oz and rising. Truly undervalued at present and 15p as broker says could be reached in days/weeks.

The metric to look at is how profitable they were in 2016 with POP dipping to under $900, as compared with a current POP hovering around $1100 and then take into account the cost reductions achieved in the second half of 2016, which by themselves, will achieve a significant uplift when applied to the whole of 2017.

Still grossly undervalued,

C

Approaching its 52 week high, despite the p.o.p. $250 below the p.o.g. and way below its own highs of circa $1700. That said, its a very efficient company and could attract a bid from one of the big boys down on it luck with strikes etc.

Get ready for 9p sooner than you expect IMO.

The price of Platinum is about to rocket.
'South African labour union that led a bruising 20-week strike in 2014 declares dispute with top producers over 50% wage hike demands'.

SLP profits are about to increase nicely.

Tick tock.

Have a gut feeling that this is about to move on UP.

Watch those share buy backs. Platinum is also going UP....

That is one of the points I am trying to make -(Tom spent all last week in the City). Think where the future new investors are located.

He needs to rethink his strategy IMO and entice non- City investors and PIs.
PIs use the internet and are worldwide. Change with the times and open up. Do a webcast, look at your twitter feed etc. That SLP presentation document was very professional but PIs also invest in 'trusted people', who may ask time consuming and tiresome questions. But that is life.

Lets hope you are right and the message finally gets out, that SLP should rerate. back between 12p to 15p. Liberum suggest 15p but they would, wouldn't they......
What did they do to mitigate that Institutions sell off that was not just Miton.

I am still holding onto a sizeable (long term) chunk here, waiting for that promised dividend day....

Perhaps the SLP BoD are getting ready, to sell the whole lot off to the highest taker?
