06/10/2020 11:16 | Perhaps most notably the cash position would appear to have improved by £10m from this time last year. Of course, we'll need to pour over the actual results to see how such an impressive improvement could have been achieved, three times that of a year before. | jojaken
06/10/2020 10:58 | MM's biding 53p for up to 35k shares now, 2p over the bid price. | vfast
06/10/2020 10:38 | Online is encouraging - you can only buy a maximum 30k at 54.375p, whilst you can sell at least 40k at a good premium at 51.86p. | rivaldo
06/10/2020 09:01 | All looking very good and will attract institutional interest or SUR could be targeted as an acquisition. | vfast
06/10/2020 08:15 | Indeed - that should bring back further institutional investment. The order book is now up to £375m - that's up a whopping 16% since May when it was just £323m. That figure gave 90% visibility of 2020's earnings, so the current order book must give huge visibility going forward to 2021. This stock is currently well under the radar, but given 5p+ EPS there could be 50% short-term upside - with more if SUR use their balance sheet strength for further acquisitions. | rivaldo
06/10/2020 07:39 | And this :-) "will enable the Board to consider reinstating its sustainable dividend policy". | cheshire man
06/10/2020 07:11 | Very encouraging trading update just out... - nicely in line with expectations, which per my records are 4.6p EPS - this year's forecast is 5p EPS, so SUR's P/E is now only just above 10 - £3m net cash - excellent forward visibility through £375m order book - "the Group is delivering a consistently strong performance" | rivaldo
05/10/2020 10:04 | Surprised no update this morning!! Hopefully tomorrow | knowhow77
01/10/2020 11:29 | Trading update on the 4th Oct. last year so hoping we'll have some news Friday or Monday :-) | cheshire man
01/10/2020 09:36 | I also expect the possible upcoming trading update will take these into the 60s. Agree with Vfast prediction as well. | igoe104
01/10/2020 08:56 | Thanks once again for the information Rivaldo. This is looking very good, £1 plus over the next 12 months. | vfast
01/10/2020 08:30 | Nice review overnight on Master Investor by Mark Watson-Mitchell: "Sureserve Group (LON:SUR) – Trading update due shortly? After having eased back to 48p over the last few weeks, the shares of this compliance and energy services company have been creeping gently better again. Now at 52.5p they are only a few pence below their recent 57p high. My view is that they will continue to edge even higher ahead of the early October trading update referring to the September year-end. Undoubtedly, we will have some more positive news from boss Bob Holt and that can do no harm to the share price, which I see going up through the 60p level fairly soon." | rivaldo
28/9/2020 14:31 | Thanks Rivaldo, another positive writeup. I did get a small amount this morning at 50.5p. | vfast
28/9/2020 11:54 | Looks like a 50,000 buy at 50.5p has caused a nice uptick. | rivaldo
28/9/2020 10:32 | Progressive Equity Research have issued a note on companies with reliable, recurring revenues, including SUR (and RNWH and IMO, which I also hold). The analysis on SUR includes: "MAIN REVENUE SOURCES •Compliance(re •Energy Services(recurring revenue)38%" "DRIVERS OF RESILIENCE •Revenues in both divisions comprise long term contracts, typically of 3-5 years •Compliance contracts are a legal requirement •Tackling fuel poverty a political commitment •Smart meter roll-out is gathering pace •Financially secure, government-backed clients" | rivaldo
25/9/2020 19:16 | Igoe, as it happens I have and will have some spare cash next week which is for a few more SUR shares. So in the very short term hoping they don't go up before the 1st of Oct. I've got SUR down as one of the best preforming shares over the next 12 months. | vfast
25/9/2020 11:33 | Its a excellent time of year to top up, whilst stocks drift due to seasonal sentiment. ive also been adding to some of my holdings, including SUR. VFast and Cheshire man its your turn to top up next !!! | igoe104
25/9/2020 10:11 | I've been topping up here recently. SUR look cheap again imo. The recent interviews in posts 298 and 302 are well worth watching for the hints and confidence therein. | rivaldo
18/9/2020 19:50 | Hi Arthur, I'm okay, SUR looking good now hoping for a good return over the next 12 months. How are you? | vfast
18/9/2020 18:43 | Hi vfast Long time no hear. I hope you're well. Cheers Arthur | arthur_lame_stocks
18/9/2020 18:15 | Thanks for that and maybe a interim divi Good luck | knowhow77
18/9/2020 17:54 | Year end is the end of this month, so we could get a trading update in October. They now should start building a decent balance sheet. | igoe104
18/9/2020 17:21 | Do you think there will be another update this month !! You can see Bobs frustration at the share price. | knowhow77
18/9/2020 16:43 | Sureserve Group looking to rejoin dividend list as first-half 2020 performance defies pandemic | igoe104
12/9/2020 19:17 | Thanks igoe104 for alerting me to this interview which covers a lot of ground in less than 7 minutes. | cerrito |
