Even for SR, this is all sounding a bit twisted.

The gist of it seems to be:

"This is going to succeed. The price has been kept low by naughty, nasty shorters and critics of this company who don't share my wondrous vision. But if I'm right and this does succeed, I and others will have been done a great favour by being able to buy low. Nevertheless I'm going to issue vague threats to anyone who's dared to criticise this company and helping facilitate these huge gains I'm claiming I'll make. Because even though those people will have done me a great favour, Mr Mandarin is still very very cross and upset"

If anyone can explain why that stands as a logical argument, then well done to them!
