Not much of a lather other than derampers and shorters trying to antagonize and purposely trip people up. What sad lives these self proclaimed moral and financial sheriffs of the markets must lead.Asking the same question over and over is pathetic and proves nothing. When they're asked what their holding is or if they're in what's the response? Deafening silence!Long term holders know, understand and appreciate where SYME has come from, where it currently is and where its going.

Hi all,

Everyone's getting into a lather speculating when/who how many financial institutions will be buying into the story.

People are overlooking - if they were ever aware - that SYME UK (ie post RTO) started life with 3 x financial institutions already 'on board', see p. 6 of the Prospectus. These were :

Parrot Capital (Global Capital p.l.c.) – – 1,630,000,000 4.98 %
Equita Sim S.p.A. – – 1,630,000,000 4.98 %
Ceresio Sim S.p.A. – – 1,630,000,000 4.98 %.

(1) Ceresio has already transferred its shares (Consideration Shares, to AZ, ie minimal, if any value) per the 18/7 RNS.
Ceresio is a private banking subsidiary , part of hxxps://www.ceresioinvestors.com/en/societa/banca-del-ceresio-SA.html
Banca del Ceresio SA is a Swiss bank established in 1958 founded and owned by the Foglia family active in the financial services sector since 1919. Banca del Ceresio specializes in offering asset management services, financial consultancy, brokerage and custody services for private and institutional clients.

(2) Parrot Capital (Global Capital) plc is more difficult to track down, it appears to be part of this Italian -owned, Malta based Group, that is mostly into selling insurance products hxxps://www.globalcapital.com.mt/investors-relation-corporate/.

For those of you who value these things, its Board all have very impressive CVs and some have a number of fintech connections.

It has attracted some regulatory controversy eg hxxp://www.newsmalta.com/2018/03/18/what-exactly-is-global-capital-plc-all-about/,
it's not obvious what added value they brought as a founder shareholder.

(3) Equita SIM spa is part of hxxps://www.equita.eu/en/the-equita-group/who-we-are.html, a leading Italian investment bank. So pretty pukka and a good source of business introductions/support, one would imagine.

(1) and (3) seem exactly the sort of institutions one would want as 'core investors', because of their connections, yet (1) has , seemingly dropped out already; and (3) has apparently remained passive.

And, of course, all 3 could have already 'sold out' , being below the 5% notifiable holding for inv co's, we only know of Ceresio because they transferred to an existing notifiable shareholder.

A completely reasonable question which you would have thought the rampant bulls here would have at least a rough idea of. Is it 0, 10, 100......

Not much risk here nmulm, I've DMOR , I know how many companies are already onboard, I know how much money is already in the pipeline. I know how many hubs are already going to be operating. No , not much risk here. Have a nice Monday everyone.

Mick,

argo claims to know how many co's are onboard - see above.

Ballbag,

The answer is either '0' or a number greater than '0'. Can't be anything else & argo has strongly implied it is greater than '0'.

I'm simply asking what that number is. What's the problem with that? Frankly, I'd have thought you bulls would be very pleased to know the answer.
