07/11/2020 15:43 | Thanks Tole, good to see some publicity for SUMO, it has operated with a lower profile than CDM, FDEV and TM17, but has been just as successful during the pandemic. With lockdown, and Christmas around the corner, video gaming is booming. With consolidation as Saucepan says taking place in the sector, I would suggest SUMO, or at least once of its peers, is a ''must have'' for the portfolio over the next three months at least. | ![]() boozey
07/11/2020 08:40 | Thanks, Tole. With a bid announced for CDM late Friday, sector interest and speculation about further consolidation is likely to hot up. It will be good for the share price here, I think. | ![]() saucepan
07/11/2020 08:17 | Daily Mail (Punt of the Week): Sheffield-based video game developer Sumo Group shares are up 50% so far this year.https://www.dai | tole
04/11/2020 17:50 | I do love quality, unknown companies. Started out in CDM. Then ran Sumo in tandem. Sold out of CDM and put proceeds in here. If you are not in Pharma's or t'interweb I think you are probably lost. Oh, strangely M&S might now be a punt! | ![]() snakehips
04/11/2020 16:53 | And I so nearly invested further - he who dithers! What a great company operating below the radar but in a super hot sector during the pandemic. | ![]() boozey

28/10/2020 10:40 | I've some in a pension. Met the team at IPO and they came across as credible guys who would build a big company. Happy to let it sit there and rise! | ![]() igbertsponk
27/10/2020 22:51 | Isn't anyone else invested here? Don't need to wear a face mask on this board as no one else is around seemingly! lol Still reckon we could be £3 after Christmas. Turnover here is around £50M. £390M market cap and a PE of 40, Contrast that with TM17 which passed a billion pound market cap today, 60 million revenue. More profitable than Sumo (but not materially), and a PE around 53. I hold both, both have more upside than downside given their defensive qualities during the pandemic. But for more upside potential given the data I would plump for Sumo. | ![]() boozey
15/10/2020 21:36 | Very firm at its new level, even on a market down day. Bodes well. | ![]() boozey
08/10/2020 15:45 | Sumo have operated below the radar, certainly with PIs, and has operated at a discount to its more illustrious peers like TM17. The last set of results has however clearly sparked broader interest. I would venture to suggest the price surge this afternoon was so significant and sudden that it might be as a result of more than just a re-rating. But either way it is great to see really good progress and hopefully we can sit back and enjoy the ride up to Christmas and beyond. Berenberg have increased their price target from 190p to 270p. | ![]() boozey

30/9/2020 16:06 | Sumo Group hasn’t been as acquisitive as AIM peer Keyword Studios but it still offers considerable attractions in a booming video gaming market, as our updated Premium Research on Investor's Champion reveals. | ![]() energeticbacker
30/9/2020 14:38 | Had forgotten about this share, so when I saw the 2 x RNS's today I expected to see the price at £2.50+, but instead I was delighted to be able to buy around £2.13. There doesn't seem to be too much difference between the prospects here & TM17 / FDEV / CDM? Yet this is trading at a much lower valuation. My thinking is the significant acquisition they have announced today will be the spark that sets off a proper rerate, as it takes pro forma 2020 revenues to beyond £70m. Also very positive chart wise as it's clear break above £2. | ![]() 74tom |
