Pretty inconsequential acquisition. Will be loss-making into next year.
Cant have any decent IP if they are selling it and the ongoing business for net £600k. This smells more of founders of a small devco cashing in whilst they can.
I remain bearish these recent floats (TM17,CDM,SUMO). If/when the US gaming leaders rollover will add heavily to short positions.

Nice little acquisition of The Chinese Room for just £0.6m of shares. Should add further capability and the opportunity to build a South Coast studio.

KWS selling off.
FDEV 40% off highs.

Looks like the gaming peak might be in.
You only have to look at how many insiders sold here and at CDM and TM17 when they IPOed to know the top was getting close.
Are we there yet? I think the Xmas season coming up will reveal that.

Bought in first thing this am. Plenty of scope to move onto a rating alongside KWS. Its a smaller, more specialist version focussing solely on game development.

The have expertise in producing AAA games, what would be interesting is if they can get to the point where they start producing more of their own IP - snake pass was the first attempt. In short plenty of growth to go for in this sector so I am now a holder.

Worth noting that Zeus Capital floated this.

They also floated CVR and ACRL which have turned out to be absolute disasters.
Dont say I didnt warn you...
