07/3/2014 09:39 | below fm Edison note - very positive: #################### Final results were ahead of our expectations as was the 2p dividend, a sign of management's confidence. The advertising outlook is positive and STV's strong local identity and new local and digital services are an important differentiator for advertisers. The revenue base is diversifying, net debt is falling and STV's Channel 3 licences have been formally renewed to 2024. We have increased our 2014 EPS estimates by 8%. The shares have performed very well but the rating remains below the peer group with the 2014e P/E at 10.1x and EV/EBITDA of only 8.0x. STV is Scotland's digital media company. It holds the Channel 3 (ITV) commercial television licences for Scotland and creates and distributes programmes across all platforms, including broadcast and catch-up TV, online, mobile and connected devices. #################### | scottishfield | |
