ITV trade on a 2011 PE of 15.

BSY trade on a 2011 PE of 20.

Makes STVG's 2011 PE of 3 look somewhat hideously cheap imo.

Game-changer I'd have though - market's been waiting for them to get rid of Pearl & Dean - now they can be a focussed TV co imo.

Recent rise was obviously on the back of that sale news being leaked.

Bought more today. 30p+ eps for 2011 forecast - that's a PE under 3 still - you don't see PE's under 3 hang about for long imo.

Over £1 now. Thats 100% gain in around 4 weeks with absolutely no reason or news. Strange one this!

looks like a bit of profit taking this morning but the amounts look small.

Feel we can hit new yearly highs. The AGM is on Weds of course. I won't be there but if any of you guys are, then some info would be most appreciated.

Story in the press today that ITV are now charging £250K for a 30 second slot.

That sounds pretty positive for STVG imo.

Yup, agreed - it's a bit hard hanging in there when the catalyst for the move is unclear.

Last April springs to mind.

crawford, lots of history with STVG and UTV trying to merge / UTV takeover, 2 yrs ago. STV always stated that any offer undervalued the group (when the share price was 150% more than today).

Taken a few profits today (to enable the new guys to make some!)

I was thinking that a link up with UTV would be quite a nice knit. Living in N. Ireland, I can tell you that UTV is a first class outfit and has the same kind of set up as STV, I'm sure they could share technologies / programming expertise.

3) End of legal disputes
4) sale of Perl and Dean
