What is the point of posting RNS out and then doing nothing about it.
Probably because it says jack!
Yet another holding RNS and it doesn't mean to say they will get it as I believe from recent posts that others are interested.

Stellar Resources plc (AIM: STG) advises that Gold Mines of Wales (Operations) Ltd ("GMOW") has sought an extension of its exclusive Option Agreement from the Crown Estates over an exploration licence covering an area of 120km² which contains the entire Dolgellau Gold Belt, including the historic Clogau Gold mine. This is currently being processed and the Company will provide a further update as appropriate. Stellar Resources owns 49% of GMOW.

Extending the option. I guess it would be bad news if they didn't get it but generally assumed they will have no problems.

Yes but STG max gain was at 192% from the all time low
UKOG was over 1000% from their lows so a bit of an injustice that STG are now only 38% up from their lows BUT UKOG are still 366% above their lows.

Just think yourselves lucky you did not get burned like those who bought UKOG. Down over 1/2 on what some paid and still to hit bottom.

ALBA even a better chance of fast upward rise as it has underperformed the rest over some months now due to buying out RGM and fund raising. In a very strong position now.

lenigas comment

"I want to stimulate debate on this because if Britain does want to use this, it is not little companies like ours that can do that. This is big-boy territory. This is BG, ExxonMobil, Shell, all those sorts of guys who have got big pockets and the time to wait and negotiate properly.’ It has been estimated that five to 15 per cent of this oil can be reached using conventional methods. That knocks a hole in the headline figure of 100 billion barrels, but would still be a hefty amount. The whole of the North Sea has delivered just 45 billion barrels in 40 years."
