Gold Mines of Wales - Update

New Director of Operations.

Stellar Resources plc (AIM:STG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Simon Dominy as Director of Operations of GMOW (Operations) Ltd ("GMOW"), the operator of the Dollgellau Gold Project, which covers the 120 km2 exploration license over the entire Dolgellau Gold Belt from the Crown Estates. The licence contains the historic Clogau St David's Gold mine, renowned as being the source of royal gold.

Dr Dominy (FAusIMM, FIMMM, FGS, FSEG, FMinSoc, MCSM) is a mining geologist and geological engineer and brings over 25 years of international experience to GMOW across resource development, mine operations and minerals processing. He has extensive global expertise in the evaluation and exploitation of narrow vein, high-nugget mineralisation such as is found at Dolgellau. Over the last 10 years, he has held senior technical and management roles for the leading consulting group Snowden, both Australia and the UK.

Dr Dominy also brings specific Welsh gold experience having previous held a senior operational role with Welsh Gold PLC, which previously owned/operated the 5,000 tonne of ore processed per annum Gwynfynydd gold mine during 1990-1999. He has extensive experience across the entire Dolgellau gold-belt, having co-authored a number of scientific papers on geology and mineralisation in the region.

Don Strang, Chairman of the Company, commented:

"We are delighted with the appointment of Dr Dominy as Director of Operations of GMOW, as we head in to GMOW's proposed work programme for 2015, which (subject to Crown approval) will see the most active exploration programme in Wales since Stellar Resources' involvement with this project. He also brings a wealth of historical hands-on operational Welsh gold expertise of the Dolgellau gold-belt, which will be of immense benefit to the project."

Exploration programme for 2015

In the light of the large number of regional and local-scale exploration targets generated by this recent review, the Company in consultation with SRK is currently developing a detailed exploration programme and budget for 2015 and beyond to assess the potential for the Clogau Gold mine and the overall Dolgellau Gold Belt. It is envisaged that this will be completed within a few weeks and will conclude with a clear and structured exploration programme of the licence area.

The exploration will comprise but not be limited to the following activities:

· An underground 3D mine survey;

· Geological and structural mapping at surface, incorporating top of bedrock sampling where possible;

· Underground geological and structural mapping;

· Underground Channel sampling;

· 3D Geological Modelling; and

· Definition of drilling targets.

management's viewpoint is not enough,it was the management's viewpoint that horse hill had 500 millions barrels of oil and half trillion cubic feet of gas,the viewpoint is not independent and you cant trust it,look at the last time.

"It should be noted that the OIIP numbers in Table 1, above, represent the management's current viewpoint. For the avoidance of doubt OIIP numbers should not be construed as resource or reserve estimates as a significant proportion will not be recovered during any future production regime."

NB "a significant proportion will not be recovered"

REALLY!

Obviously the Qualified Person was not happy putting his name to the RNS unless that statement had been included.
