Well were the deal to go through I would fully expect to see Marcus handed a golden goodbye and his big bonus before the mine was ever built, leaving the Crusader guys to continue doing what they do best, which appears to be living blessed lives supported by shareholders.

Does Marcus have shares in Crusader or chums with shares in Crusader?

The whole Crusader deal stinks of something?

Do you know what it should be called when they owe you money and they don't pay it back - stealing ?

I get the feeling based on his new merger schedule that he is doing whatever it takes to push through this deal, no matter the cost, and intends to have most of it wrapped up before an EGM in November.

Looking in here again & on other boards I have not read one post that backs the deal, not one.

My comfort is the apparent strength of the anti merger camp and the fact we seem to have attracted a new, potentially powerful, investor in Mr Gyllenhammer.

I am also comforted that any money loaned to Crusader should the deal fail has to be returned within 6 months, not fair to say Stratex are throwing cash away, it is a loan.

I notice there does appear to be a persistent buyer picking up stock in the 1.25p-1.35p region with late declared trades (Mr Gyllenhammer?) He surely has to be a merger objector.

Market in junior mining stocks, for some reason, has fallen away over the last few months, this may also account for some of the drop in the value of Stratex.

Can't see the EGM meet being until late October at the earliest, plenty of time for events to unfold.

I would rather follow the likes of Peter Gyllenhammer, he is not a fellow to ignore! He sees value here.

There are 2 options, if the NO merger camp wins then there should be a significant rally in the stock price.

If Englebrecht & Co get the merger across the line (seems unlikely but who knows) there must be more to it than what we already know, for example, the RNS today talks about a new fund raise, just suppose this is at a significant premium to market, it happens, Sprott took £4.5m of MTR stock at a premium to market not so long ago.

My take is there is more to come, from both sides.

"This recent action has put Stratex on the map" ?? It certainly has, but for all the wrong reasons.

That is obviously why a shrewd investor like Gyllenhammar has increased his stake!

The only thing is he will not be rewarded by way of his option package unless he gets the share price way beyond 1.76p.

I do not think we have seen the last of Peter Gyllenhammer's buying yet either.

There are many scenarios that could occur here before the EGM, the recent action has put Stratex on the map, one may even suggest the company could attract a takeover approach.

The larger shareholders may take out an injunction but it is a relatively expensive option, probably better to just watch and wait and sort out the mess once he's gone.

I'm not trying to "bash" as Tadtech like to put it, but people should seriously think about their hard earned cash they have tied up in Stratex. It wouldn't surprise me if this gets suspended from trading at some point. Marcus is clear on getting this across the line at any cost, and as he's at the helm for some weeks to come, this is only going to getting messier. It's appalling to watch.
