16/9/2017 08:33 | The requisition shareholders will be looking to engage with other shareholders soon, including meeting personally in London if we would like and it is convenient. First though, there is a plan/strategy which needs to be shared through the internet. I really hope their plan offers an exciting alternative to the current deal. I was worried the plan would be simply "don't buy Crusader", I think it needs to be a lot more than that and now I think it will be. EDIT: I should add that I know this because I wrote to David and he was good enough to reply first thing this morning which I really appreciated. | romeike
16/9/2017 08:28 | Should be a very interesting week ahead. Anyone considered whether an Anglo/Teck t/o could be on the cards ? After all they don't need to increase their positions by much and it would be chicken feed for them to do so. They could then sweep out the dross BOD and insert their new desired CEO & CFO. | exbiz
16/9/2017 07:46 | I assume that we are back here because Tad now recognises he had it totally wrong - fooled by the gangsters running STI | juju44
16/9/2017 06:41 | U will be able to file a proxy for this - however if your shares are with a bank/broker make sure they pass all info on to you - otherwise you will never be invited to vote. Then be very careful that the proxy is correctly filed - these guys will do anything they can to be able to claim votes against them are not valid. And they are likely to spend shareholders money on lawyers trying to help them in this, as disgraceful as that is ! | baner
16/9/2017 06:41 | I can't imagine any sane people voting for the engleburk deal! | goldenshare888
16/9/2017 00:32 | I think now would be a good time for everyone on the forum to be prepared to work together to put our votes in the right direction and, IF the Anglo+Teck proposals are good make sure everyone gets their vote in. Will voting require us to attend the meeting? I believe there is usually a process to get your votes in in advance. If Marcus thinks he will lose I think he will high tail it. | romeike
15/9/2017 23:12 | I would assume that these guys feel a bit aggrieved | 5huu
15/9/2017 20:55 | I would like to hear their plans first - but my votes will not in any case support the Englebrecht rip off | juju44
15/9/2017 20:52 | Guys, you already have the details you need I already contacted to ask re distribution of details on alternative plans and to suggest I may be prepared to lend 5 million + votes | romeike
15/9/2017 19:50 | There will be a general meeting announced unless they quietly go. Given the reputation of Anglo and Teck what option have they but to go quietly. | corguv
15/9/2017 19:27 | does anyone know who to contact in order to file support for this - best would be if EGM could be avoided and these morons just resign? what % is needed in order to block the acquisition per se? | baner
15/9/2017 19:22 | Yep , I agree - waited here for years to see the end of the crooked idiots stealing our money . Lovely | juju44
15/9/2017 19:03 | David Hall is not to be confused with and is not related to Christopher Hall. Christopher Hall Ex Stratex Chairman now enjoying life caused the biggest furore on this BB with appalling PR and favouring fellow directors' interests over those of shareholders, particularly over Dalafin and fawning over John Cole-Baker. The Board of Stratex has been a profligate and self interested bunch ever since the sale of Oksut and repeatedly wasted tens of millions and dubiously flogged off Altintepe to benefit who ? I wish Anglo and Teck well by their record of success they deserve the support of every shareholder in ridding Stratex Board of directors who have put Stratex shareholders last ? This fix up of a dodgy Crusader deal should be stopped. Support Anglo and Teck. | corguv
15/9/2017 17:09 | good words Baner, agree. thanks to Anglo and Teck. Potentially a great buy here when things are sorted out. | dingo75
15/9/2017 16:41 | it is no doubt Game Over for the current management. the deal with the aussies was a really bad one for the Stratex shareholders - the winners being the aussies and the Stratex CEO. at a huge expense of the Stratex shareholders. the only honorable thing for the Stratex BOD would now be to apologise to all shareholders and resign a.s.a.p - with no claims against the company. in exchange for which the company could withdraw any potential claims for negligence against the same BOD. following that we shall see the shares approaching 2p again. many thanks to Anglogold and Teck !!!! | baner
15/9/2017 16:15 | Yes juju I'm a bit suspicious of motives here too. | exbiz
15/9/2017 16:14 | Oh :( In any case market reacting positively to this intervention so far. | romeike
15/9/2017 16:13 | I'm pretty sure DH was a director when Oksut and Inlice monies were splurged amongst board. | exbiz
15/9/2017 16:11 | Wasn't it Chris Hall that was snouting? | romeike
15/9/2017 15:54 | At last some positive news | ryanandbethanjones
15/9/2017 15:45 | Only problem here is that Hall is a useless idiot too | juju44
15/9/2017 15:44 | The newer bulletin board is now available to everyone for those wanting to use it. | tadtech
15/9/2017 15:41 | exbiz - I don't think one could associate DH with a snout in the trough. | charles clore |
