29/8/2016 19:22 | Maybe but all this rumour could be stopped with concise and unambiguous statements from stratex with expected timelines of when they expect events (such as cash inflow) to happen. | ryanandbethanjones
29/8/2016 15:37 | There is nothing untoward going on, the partnership are simply planning ahead in a prudent fashion, they are working right now with the aim to extend the mine life, already stated by Bob Foster as at least 5 years & the brokers 8 years. The mine has produced $33m in the 1st 6 months and it is likely that will be enhanced in the next 6 due to better weather and equipment enhancements + a higher gold price. Stratex are not, in any way desperate for cash but will eventually receive a very significant deposit into their bank. Bahar (the partner) have done everything that has been asked. The multi-alias posters who operate here have no interest in putting across a balanced view, bunch of losers, or should that be the loser with multiple accounts. | observer007
29/8/2016 14:30 | juju - either that - or a modification to contract or a breach may have occurred. I'm not sure whether Turkish contract law is different but under English law the parties to a completed and binding contract are free to modify the terms of the contract. However if one or more contract terms are broken this would constitute a breach of contract which can lead to protracted court proceedings. Because of the way this jv has been set up using Altintepe Madencilik a court battle would significantly inconvenience both parties and is therefore undesirable. If one party fails to agree to a modification (under English law) the contract continues to follow the original terms of agreement. It is obviously in the interests of both parties to settle any difficulties arising and get on with the job in hand. Which is what I believe is happening. | charles clore
29/8/2016 13:59 | Our resident "experts" screwed up the negotiation with Bahar ( probably fell asleep ). They are not fit to rub a chippy | juju44
29/8/2016 13:55 | I maybe mistaken but the BoD have promoted a narrative that once the costs of phase 1 have been repaid (on the 80/20) basis, then the balance of income would be distributed 55/45. Now I'm reading the distribution of monies is conditional on additional costs being incurred and provision being made for restoration of an as yet unspecified mine. As the BoD would not have intended to misinform shareholders and the market, the only explanation is that the BoD were unaware of the majority partner's intentions. As matters stand, shareholders have all too clear a view of expenditure but it is more difficult to have any visibility of income. | youngharry2
26/8/2016 16:59 | Especially with the markets closed for the BHM......Tuesday would be amazing too of course. | longshanks
26/8/2016 16:22 | Would be amazing if we got an update on Monday? | charles clore

26/8/2016 09:27 | Wonder if he has ever lectured on what AISC means... | sicilian_kan
26/8/2016 09:18 | Really ? Didn't know I was so rich. Must be my other half Observer. Funny how we have digressed from Discussing Stratex and it's management. Incidentally if anyone can be bothered to read Stratex website instead of making it up you can see that Bob Foster was a lecturer at Southampton. | corguv
26/8/2016 09:07 | And Corguv did buy some six million plus shares at six pence plus so you can see why he's cheesed! | shortarm
26/8/2016 09:04 | But SK, you have to admit to being a little disingenuous yesterday...Contribu | shortarm
26/8/2016 08:59 | Observer, when you get personal, it is because your argument is weak. When you claim to know other people's finances, you are a fantasist, spouting out what ever your head wants others to hear. As for not being blue, the services offered for the price are quite poor. Stopped out of principle. | sicilian_kan
26/8/2016 08:47 | Observer, I see you are 007; what is that? Is it a licence to bore people to death with your ridiculous, paranoid posts? | georgesorrow
26/8/2016 00:13 | Bunch of multi alias posters operating on this bulletin board, how many accounts belong to one person I wonder. FACT is the Turkish mine has generated $33m in revenue in only 2 and a bit quarters, that has way exceeded expectation. The trashers don't like that do they. Stratex - Bahar are quite rightly working on extending the mine by drilling new ground, this is exactly what Ariana are doing BTW, do you hear any complaints about this on the Ariana bulletin board, not on your nelly. What a complete wally sicilian_kan is, advising and pumping this company at 5p+ back in early 2014 and now tries to de-ramp it at every opportunity. Come on sicilian_kan go blue and ban me, oh I forgot, you have lost so much money you cannot afford the ADVFN subs LOL Come on Corguv now admit who are you working for, how many accounts have you opened to de-ramp? I have an idea, if rumours are correct Stratex may not remain independent for much longer but remember Corguv those major shareholders, they won't fall for a 3p-4p offer, you masters will have to pay more. | observer007
25/8/2016 20:02 | Bob Foster started as a geologist in Zimbabwe went into Academia as a Lecturer at Southampton University he gave up Academia in 1989. Reverting to being a geologist. He says he finds geology 'great fun' and will never retire. Source Yorkshire Post. Perhaps explains a lot and some of my difficulties understanding management's plans, costs and cash flow management ? | corguv |
