17/8/2016 12:05 | Well I've just bought a few to be a direct holder again for the first time in a few years. With a great deal of reluctance I have to add as I think this is a failure from a shareholders perspective (nothing is ever going to get shared amongst the holders). But Altintepe is clearly performing well above expectations, may hit 40-45000oz this year - though I think we will be underwhelmed by payments to the partnership, which might be in the region of $500 per oz after costs, before splitting between STI / Bahar. But it's the drilling finally getting underway in Djibouti which has just crept this one into acceptable punt territory. It looks like they are drilling Thani ground rather than Stratex ground, which is probably a good thing, given STI's recent track record! | danieldruff2
17/8/2016 11:18 | Romeike - i would hope Stratex will receive a bit more than a dividend! | charles clore
17/8/2016 10:50 | I suppose like any company the jv co can only pay out dividends from profits and you don't know what your profits are until you fully account for your costs. | romeike
17/8/2016 09:32 | Charles Thankyou, topped up HUM. I hope this does come good for the long suffering shareholders and If my other investments hum and hzm(nickel on the up) do good near term and the share price here remains the same I might be back. It feels strange not being in here.See you on Hum board. Good luck. | goldendigger
17/8/2016 09:26 | 'dogs'....? | dogwalker
17/8/2016 08:34 | Absolutely, Steve. share price is down to the company's inability to explain the figures in a way that the market will trust. If Observer wants to build a conspiracy theory about entities planning a concert party, he needs to look elsewhere than a few disgruntled powerless posters on here. More rns's like that and I will start believing in a conspiracy ! | luminoso
17/8/2016 08:24 | Hi. It is a free for all here. Am not registered at the moment. | sicilian_kan
16/8/2016 23:43 | It still would be nice to see some cash coming in after 9 months of production ? What's the problem with releasing ? | corguv
16/8/2016 22:26 | It does look like Stratex has exceeded gold production targets by some significant margin, this is exceptionally good news and it can really only be a matter of time before we see a re-rate of the shares. My view is, with this kind of stock, a re-rate will come when least expected, a catalyst could be buying from a boutique gold fund or a collection of high net worth investors. Most importantly shares in issue are the same now as back in 2012 when the share price hit 8.5p. Onlookers need to consider the significant cash generation the gold mine will throw out, possibly £3m-£3.5 Stratex will surely move to 45% revenue share sooner than later, at current production/gold price would generate annual cash to Stratex of £7m-£8m | tadtech
16/8/2016 22:14 | sicilian_kan is a disgrace, the wally who was telling everyone to buy at 5p in 2014 now tries to put off prospective investors at 2p when Startex has nver been in better health. Clearly the MASSIVE INCREASE in gold production has really ruffled the feathers of the bashers tonight. Goodness knows why the bulls and sensible posters do not use the other thread is beyond belief, the bashers wont because they are fearful of being exposed as the syndicate they are. | observer007
16/8/2016 21:48 | SK - shame on you. in case you had forgotten Altintepe Madencilik is the company where all the mining revenue is going, NOT Bahar. There is currently about $30m in the AM bank account. Nothing goes out without the agreement of both partners. In the event of Stratex being squeezed dry and going bust the shareholders would be entitled to a proportion of that money. You seem to be suggesting that Bahar controls all the cash and Stratex won't ever see any of it. That is simply untrue and you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself for that. | charles clore
16/8/2016 21:31 | When will any 'Revenue' arrive in Stratex bank account ? Hopefully soon Observer | corguv
16/8/2016 21:18 | Bashers are operating on this thread 24/7, question is who are they working for?? This company has just announced gold production of 31,000oz in 9 months, exceeded expectations by miles. The 45% revenue interest will approach sooner than expected. Shrewd folk should take advantage of the ultra low sub £10m market cap, the longer the bashers can keep the shares around 2p the better the opportunity to make serious financial gain. Of course they will deny they are paid bashers, think about this, the stock has excessively low volumes, major shareholders have 45%+ the company has barely put a foot wrong in recent times, on the contrary, yet bash bash bash. It is unprecedented - relentless. Question is why? Stratex is a sitting duck takeover target, valued at less than most pure explorers, the bashers have done a wonderful job, their master needs to act and act fast! Stratex should be on bid alert! | observer007
16/8/2016 21:17 | Harry you've got your pessimist hat on again. Can you try to balance your posts by putting forward a couple of positive suggestions as well as the usual? | charles clore
16/8/2016 20:53 | If Bob sells Altintepe to fund some West African wild goose chase, these shares will be 10 a penny before you know it | steve1905
16/8/2016 20:28 | My reading of the RNS suggests two things: first the majority partner is not going to approve the distribution of monies and hence put STI is a tricky position cash wise and second the purpose of calculating Phase 2 and restoration costs is for the partner to make a cash offer. Such an outcome fits with Bob's oft repeated commitment to West Africa and of course the BoD's appetite for liquidity events, bonuses and spend, spend, spend If so it will be the last turn of the wheel... | youngharry2
16/8/2016 20:25 | May be ? When some real cash is paid into Stratex Bank account and the market can measure an ongoing flow ? But then if some cash arrived what will the BOD of Stratex do with it ? | corguv |
