I beg to differ on that...
..benefitting by reserves being released/reduced are imo, one-off type events and not reflective of underlying performance, which is what a buyer or instit. would look at when deciding on valuation...imho..

..my rough quick analysis is that it is spitting out cash !!
...and generates enough to also pay a solid divi....and still increase nett cash to allow new acquisitions...

and the MD & bod have performed very well imo incl. with previous MD...

undervalued by the mkt imo...especially if the mkt now reduces the significance of the QROPS topic to valuing the company.

wish I'd loaded up below 40p, I only added a few...but with the QROPS story I guess I wasnt alone in being hesitant.

Smithie6 - the 0.5m exceptional relates to the part release of L&C expense reserve. However the narrative also states that further releases of such expense reserves are likely. So it may not be an exceptional in a true sense.

so the interims PBT excluding 1/2M exceptional is 1.9M for 6 months
( without poring thru the cashflow data)

& co. reports that trading well

so imo at least 3.8M PBT for the year

and holding a big chunk of cash...most of it for regulatory reqts....but increases valuation imo

so the cap value of the co. at about 37M according to ADVFN (number of shares is about right imo, imo its 59.6M) still looks too low imo..

so....2 dirs sell a % of their holding but keeping big stakes..

and 1 institut buys them all imo and also 250k shares more

so, it looks like the institut is keen....and has been driving the share price up recently

Cant blame the dirs...
the share price has doubled over recent years...and is now much more liquid...and with more supporters...
so bagging some profit after years of work is fair enough...
...get that extension built...or move house ..or whatever...
