You will hold shares in a private company.
I would anticipate that the opportunity to,"get any money back" could arise when Stilo is acquired by a third party.
I am hoping for this occur in the shorter term;post any de-listing.

I have read all the blurb they sent out and would be grateful if someone could enlighten me as to what will happen if I keep my shares. If I sold now I would get hardly anything back so may as well wait it out but don't know how you would ever get any money back if you can't trade. Sorry to be a dimmo on this any advice welcome.

Hi infocusint.

BIRD looks to have huge potential, yet, like many promising companies on AIM there is a way to go before worthwhile profitability is achieved.

STILO on the other hand seems about to reap the rewards of its multi year investment programme in Migrate and AuthorBridge.
Although I can understand that some holders will not wish to remain invested if the projected delisting occurs, those exiting at,or even below 1p will be ill rewarded for their involvement.

AuthorBridge in particular with its " significant new features for 2019" enabling a "major release of AuthorBridge(to be) shipped in June 2019" looks about to impact the market. It is interesting that Mastercard has now joined VISA as a customer for Migrate;whilst AB's engagement with Coriolis is a notable development.

With a planned 30% reduction in the STL shareholder base, the likelihood of a reducing R&D spend, the shedding of costs/obligations of an AIM listing and with cost saving"organisational and management changes currently underway",it looks as though the decks are being well and truly cleared.

The STL market cap has recently equated to cash on the balance sheet, rendering this whole potential being available without any obvious risk.

For me then, any investment in Stilo represents an exciting proposition whilst the share price remains so depressed.

Such a consolidation makes sense clocktower although "wiping out" is a rather emotive classification.

Beware the next step could be consolidation, wiping out a number of small remaining shareholders. When you get a BoD acting in this way, you often see that once de-listed they tend to consolidate to wipe out small holders.

So the yield when private will be more like 20% p.a.?

Beats negative bonds.

Held on all these years in the hope this could be a successful company.
Words fail me. Might as well have bailed out years ago.

They have wasted most of their profits on the listing costs for 20 years now.

All that time they could have been providing shareholders with a 5-10% yield instead

Well, mudbath, management proved to have lots of integrity!
Years of holding and giving management the benefit of the doubt because of the "potential"...
I should have followed my intuition. It was obvious from the time I started posting ideas on this board a few years back that management were totally clueless about marketing technology.
I wish management personnel the very worst luck in their personal lives.

I am clocktower,as Stilo shares have to be the bargain of the century.

The only thing SL proved was that he was a loser.

I look forward to seeing those that can look to the future, on the other, very remunerative side,of any delisting, where there will be much more than "income" accruing.

Interestingly, one can sell in large amounts this morning but not buy.

Good luck everyone.
Roger and out.

Delisting has come some 10-15 years too late imo

Yield of 12% if you are happy to hold private company shares for income.

Yup, it was the management after all, who want our shares on the cheap!

I ‘invested̵7; around £800 in this outfit, £200 is left.

Thrown in a stun grenade instead. If 26% of the shareholders vote against it fails? Do we want it to fail? Could save some money by reducing headcount...

Anything to say mud?

Did you manage to unload any that you were holding while praising the BoD and ramping this?

MMs bidding 1.404 pence for 500K Stilo shares, so someone out there has not yet thrown in the towel.

Spot on mudbath, the delisting story perfect smoke and mirrors not only to create some panicked sellers and hence some ‘market’ but also a perfect opportunity for someone to ‘ steal’ shares at a rock bottom price.

"Now imagine this, next , we hear from the company no delisting.
What will happen to the share price?
You will then realise someone has been trying to steal your shares."

How very true !

Stilo shares now 1.52 bid for 500k...and that's without any update.

According to recent RNSs, Brewin Dolphin are in the process of reducing their Stilo holdings.
A golden opportunity then for anyone choosing to build a stake whilst the share price is very much at the nub end of its decade long trading range.
