So based on the word "compelling" and your opinion as a renowned "professional market expert" we should all believe that the current 4.5 pence mark for Stilo makes for an "investment case"?

But you can't answer that can you XML Investor, Stephenkennedy, Aldo1967, also known as Mudbath, as you have your FILTRATION system switched on, don't you?

Now I too have said some things about Stilo on these threads, both positive and negative, but with a very very, very long term view.

Words like "compelling, huge, massive, gigantic" etc, etc, etc have been associated with Stilo International for years.

4.5p is certainly not cheap when you consider that these shares have been low as 1 penny in recent years.

All it normally takes for Stilo to lose contacts and for renewals not to be done and the share price moves the way it has been moving for the last 2 years now...............Southwards!

You really could not make it up!

You can read through posts that you have done on this thread for many, many, many years where you use EXACTLY the same tactics and terminology in your attempt to FLOG the Stilo story on FALSE foundations.

Its people like you who year in, year out make the same argument at the start of each year.

This is what you said on this thread as far back as 2011 in post 2:

Stilo News...STILO MIGRATE DITA CLOUD CONVERSION SERVICE.

"CISCO SELECTS STILO MIGRATE FOR FRAMEMAKER TO DITA CONVERSIONS

IBM SELECTS STILO MIGRATE FOR FRAMEMAKER TO DITA CONVERSIONS

STILO ENHANCES MIGRATE, ITS ON-DEMAND XML CONTENT CONVERSION SERVICE."

None of these contracts amongst others ever did anything serious to underlying revenues and profits did they?

Where Stilo won contracts in one area they have lost in other areas.

Like we all know you have me on your "dustbin, garbage, FILTRATION system that you have been at pains to explain, haven't you Mud?...........

One word relating to AuthorBridge that keeps recurring, whether one is reading about, listening to, or communicating with, those interested in or involved with its ongoing development is "compelling".
Based on this input,I would use the same adjective to summarize the investment case for Stilo International;particularly now that shares can be bought at a price below 4.5pence.

What about you Aldo 1967?

When you also registered with ADVNF within 48 hours of XML Investor registering his account, did you not ask a question on the other Stilo thread and do the same as our resident "market professional expert" and use your FILTRATION system more or less immediately?

Come on XML Investor we can do with your expertise knowledge since you did a wonderful maiden post after registering with ADVNF only in February.

Good to know that the "garbage, dustbin FILTRATION system is still working" and doing its job and "churning and dumping" everything irrelevant.

Stilo investors have benefitted from "Stilo's financial stability" for decades now.

What we haven't benefited from for many years is "any real kind of financial or share price progress".

Stilo have been attending this CMS/DITA conference ever since they held the first conference all those years back.

No doubt they will continue to attend this same and many other events and pitch in front of the normal customer base as has been the case for many years.

Stilo will also probably attend the following events as they have been doing quite regularly for some years.

Lava Conference,

Society for Scholarly Publishing Annual Meeting,

STC Summit,

Jats Conference,

SSP Annual Meeting,

CIDM Best Practices,

SDL Connect,

etc, etc, etc, etc as well as holding various webinars, combined with all other relevant marketing strategies that they undertake year after year as normal.

All these so called "dovetails" and individuals have been around ever since Stilo was formed many, many years ago.

You can go back 2 years, 10 years, 15 years and even 20 years plus to hear glowing references and "dovetails" about "Stilo's exclusive world leading product base".

Nothing different here.

As each year comes and go we always start with "huge expectations" and by the time the year ends we always say "least there is this year!"

Stilo’s Patrick Baker, VP of Development & Professional Services is to again present at CMS/DITA NA 2018 with his presentation entitled :- Start small, grow big, using open source tools.

His 2017 presentation at the conference, "bringing together the most highly skilled and talented managers in the field of information development from across the US and internationally to facilitate the sharing of information about current trends, best practices, and developments within the industry, from information development to training and support",must have resonated for that too carried the same header.

A resume of the 2017 presentation can be found here.

This all dovetails with Mike Iantosca's assertion that STILO are well on their way offering a full-feature intelligent authoring solution that "Stilo could seriously challenge other more established providers in this space and open up the use of intelligent content to broader industry segments".

Whilst Stilo progress on this mission,we investors benefit from the financial stability provided by their existing successful business model.

Course, the alternative argument to this is that all of Stilo's normal rules, methods of delivery, development and uptake concerning Author Bridge goes completely out of the window and Stilo's customers will immediately purchase this tool on scales never seen before and Stilo's revenues, profits, cash pile and the share price itself does what it has not done in 20 years or so: explode, go north and hit the roof and go bananas!!

..............And pigs will be flying on Monday morning!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely all of Stilo's products, both historic products and present product(Omnimark Migrate and Author Bridge Version 1, Author Bridge Version 2 and Author Bridge Version 3) all take years to build and deliver to the end user. Always have done.

To date it has taken 4 years plus to get Author Bridge Version 1 and Author Bridge Version 2 to where it is now and still it has not raised any serious revenues.

Omnimark was launched around 20 years ago and after incremental upgrades and new versions to the current Omnimark version, it has taken Stilo over 20 years to get revenues for Omnimark to where they are now.

Migrate too was launched around 10 years ago and during the last decade it has added things like Word, FrameMaker, RoboHelp and XML/SGML/HTML etc, etc, etc. The small revenues that Migrate generates too have fluctuated over the last 10 years or so.

The same will continue with Author Bridge.

More and more incremental additions will be added as the years go on and in doing so these incremental additions will help raise revenues incrementally.

This is the nature of the tools that Stilo do.

Timescale are incredibly painful and inextricably long winded.

Years and decades to be precise!

Though Stilo management could come out and say to us that Author Bridge version 3 is ready, in real terms, in terms of what end users will be looking for, it will only scratch the surface for the next year or two from the point it is ready.

"Real-time collaborative authoring" is next on the agenda for Author Bridge.

It does not surprise me though that Stilo management are already working on this even before they are able to get any serious revenues from Author Bridge yet.

Disappointingly, it really is a shame that this feature was not added on in time for when Author Bridge version 3 is launched.

It should have been. After all, to date they have already had 4 years with Author Bridge. Just another demonstration of how long things take in terms of timescales.

It is going to take them a couple of years to get the "real time collaborative feature" into action at the very earliest.

It is going to be a long road to get some people on board, to get this planned, setup, tested, tweaked and then launched, marketed and accepted.

One of the main reasons as to why Stilo want to add this feature to Author Bridge is because they know it is going to be something that they need to do in order to make Author Bridge more attractive in order for them to raise incremental revenues from it once it is out there.

Just like Migrate and Omnimark, Author Bridge Version 1 and Author Bridge Version 2, Author Bridge Version 3 is going to be another tool that will bring small additional incremental revenues as its develops and evolves as the years go on.

For starters, 2018 will be used just to get some early adopters on board, set up frameworks etc, etc, etc.

In 2019, hopefully, they will be in a more advanced stage in order to move the "Real-time collaborative authoring" feature to a stage where it can actually be used.

Real-time collaborative authoring is next in line for Author Bridge when version 3 is launched.

During 2018, together with our partner CKSource (the developers of CKEditor) Stilo are embarking upon the development of real-time collaborative authoring for AuthorBridge.

For journal, academic and book publishers/standards organizations – having the ability to collaborate on content in real-time can help to shorten publishing cycles, reduce the margin for errors and cut costs.

If you would like to collaborate, as an early adopter, in this major initiative – Stilo would love to hear from you!

If they come out and say Author Bridge 3 is now ready, what next for Author Bridge.

Well..................

stilolosses

Looks like Author Bridge 3 could potentially be ready in DITA and in JATS/STS.

A looks like it though!

However, this does not automatically mean they will be able to start to raise any serious revenues any time soon if it is ready.

If it is ready it is still going to be very limited to the end user and Stilo will still have to do the hard work of adding features to it, marketing it, speaking to potential customers with the hope of converting some of those potential customers in a timely manner.

Course, as normal the "outlook statement" will give more information.

Just because Stilo management says Author Bridge could potentially bring some desperately wanted additional revenue, time will tell if this will be the case in terms of when, how fast and timescales.

Importantly, will Migrate and Omnimark support incremental new revenue from Author Bridge or will these two fall back as has often been the case.

Up one year and down the other!

For Stilo investors this period of a week or so before results are due is normally a time of " a tiny little bit of excitement", but as most of us know we tend to then simply accept the "tiny bit of normal expected news" and then say "there is always this year".

As usual news is going to be " completely flat" and this year is going to be "nothing different".

stilolosses

Stilo management could just simply copy and paste the results from either 2015 or 2016 as these should reflect the 2017 year end results.

They just have to tweak the numbers and "outlook statement" slightly.

In all fairness they have not delivered on any "outlook statement for decades.

Two different things having an outlook statement and DELIVERING on an outlook statement.

It's been great fun sharing posts with you davy boy. You're clearly an intelligent person with great wit and humour, qualities that are often in evidence on these wonderful bulletin boards and exceptional website that everybody should join.

Whilst it's difficult to drag myself away from such a delightful raconteur such as yourself, I have an urgent appointment with a wall which has been freshly coated with a new lick of paint. A drying wall waits for no man.

How dare you accuse me of sarcasm!
