02/10/2015 08:57 | Featured as one of Investors Chronicle's Tips of the Week today. EDIT - sorry forgot to paste their summary, cant pring whole article - IC VIEW: Subdued trading in the energy sector has been far outweighed by success in every other part of SThree's operations. Overall, gross profit grew 13 per cent during the third quarter. Consensus analyst forecasts had been for 2015 pre-tax profit of £36.7m, when SThree released its update in September. This would have represented a 53 per cent increase on 2014. However, management now expect pre-tax profit to surpass market expectations. The forward PE puts a low value on such strong growth and the dividend yield is a further lure. We think investors should buy SThree's high-growth prospects at a discounted price. Last IC view: Buy, 380p, 13 Jul 2015 | paleje

06/7/2015 13:45 | This is doing well to ride out the storms hitting the FTSE this month. Although clear resistance on the charts can it punch through over 400? | richard98765
15/6/2015 13:06 | Stifel have a Buy out on STHR today: Following last week's trading update for H1 (to 31 May), we've worked through the detail of our model. We are making no changes to our P&L estimates down to PBT. The mix of the business to higher tax jurisdictions causes us to raise our tax rate and we've reviewed our diluted number of shares. EPS moves lower by a high single digit percentage. We view estimate risk to the upside. Our target price is unchanged as we factor in the strength of underlying trading which is mitigating the impact of reduced oil and gas upstream revenues. As ever, In our view, SThree continues to show exceptional agility to shift its focus to the highest potential niches. | cockneyrebel
22/4/2015 16:44 | Agree - nearly hit the intraday resistance. Looking firm - shame I traded out :-( CR | cockneyrebel

30/1/2015 08:27 | I.C. today Overseas growth adds up for SThree It was the strength of the higher-margin contract business that drove gross profits up 18 per cent for recruiter SThree (STHR) last year. The division, which places highly skilled individuals in project-based roles, now accounts for 61 per cent of gross profit – up from 56 per cent in 2012-13. The group’s restructure, which involved rationalising “sub-scaleR Headcount increased by 12 per cent on the back of sales growth in 2014. Chief financial officer Alex Edelman said the group plans to continue growing staff numbers within its contract business, but will focus on increasing productivity within its permanent recruitment business. Here, growth in gross profit – a measure of underlying sales for recruiters – picked up 6 per cent for the 12-month period. Broker UBS expects adjusted EPS of 19.4p this year, up from 15.3p in 2013-14. E SThree’s expansion in the US – the biggest market for some of its recruitment specialisms, which include life sciences and finance – looks sensible. The shares have derated over the past year and now trade on around 17 times this year’s earnings. They are yielding noticeably more than peers. We upgrade to a buy. EP Buy | cestnous
