16/7/2008 15:58 | The results to me are not the story, what will move the stock up is the news on the next buy, and trading over the first 3 months of the new year. I am looking for 10-20% above brokers forecast for 08-09 just from the deal in hand at this time. | tara7
16/7/2008 15:54 | WWC - I see you have been in STP since 2005, so I can see why you might feel a bit disillusioned, but i think you will be pleasantly surprised when the results come out. The future is here now! This is a radically different company now to what it was. New management, new structure, 5 acquisitions etc. We know that the results will be good (look back at the feb trading update). But the big story here is not about one set of results, the chart confirms that the share price has bottomed out and is steadily climbing to reflect STPs return to profitability. I expect to see that rise accelerating very soon. | someuwin
16/7/2008 15:51 | How many of your shares have gone up 150% this year like SPT.????? | tara7
16/7/2008 15:50 | Long term, profits, drive shares higher. Here we have a very small gem that wants to be big, and fast. The directors are growing the company on all fronts at a rate of knots. I am in here until we are on a foreward PE of 15 to 20 on profits of 5M pounds plus pa. The share price them will be tens of times higher than today. That may not be long off, as the takeover small fry on a monthly basis ie 5 or more a year. | tara7
16/7/2008 15:32 | WWC I note your interesting comments, which I tend to agree with however I believe theis rollercoster will be on more upward hills than downward with that move uphill to 3p! | martin44
16/7/2008 15:26 | The news we are waiting for may well be good for the future, but not today, the share price will not move in my opinion until the future is here and the good news is current day. This company is not liked by many people who have bought shares along the way from 39p right down to 5p only to see it hit a low of .0075p it will take a long term flow of good news/results to get this past a stable 2p as when it gets there and there is a few sales it comes all the way back down. Lets hope im wrong and the results are good now and the future and we see 3p! i really think this is a top share for the long term(3-5p), but a rollercoaster for the next 12 months. | wwc
16/7/2008 14:04 | More buys than sells now - 107,978 Vs 80,000. share price should move back up soon. | someuwin
16/7/2008 08:41 | ...We don't 'need' news. we know they are doing well and we know results will be out before the end of this month. News on the potential acquisition will take as long as it takes. | someuwin
16/7/2008 07:50 | We need news why are Spiritel dragging their feet | sagem
15/7/2008 23:19 | Agreed, many companies would be happy in this environment to be taken out by Spiritel. | butch9850
15/7/2008 13:48 | Great to see this non stop buying, the market is hammering most small Aim stocks, but not this one. The company is going great guns, and should be able to buy up cheap telcos, without a bidding war pushing up the price. | tara7
15/7/2008 11:56 | Especially in a bear market which we could have, recovery stocks such as Spiritel are a must in ones portfolio. | butch9850
15/7/2008 11:55 | Looking strong recently... keep up the good info someuwin! I have a fairly large holding (long term) but i don't post much! Just enjoy the comments.... yours too Tara!!! My view.... one of the best buys for growth on the market over a 2-3 year view! | dyardley
15/7/2008 11:08 | 485,695 Buys Vs. 105,000 Sells. | someuwin
15/7/2008 09:05 | Very strange how Spiritel had a surge of interest yesterday, and today so far very little. Perhaps yesterday those in the know had heard news was coming today and no news so far.So tomorrow Wednesday could be the news day.....we will see. For month's the share price has acted very strange indeed.....something is going on and I just hope it is good news. | sagem
15/7/2008 07:24 | NO NEWS OR AN RNS ANNOUNCEMENT TODAY SO FAR BUT I THINK IT IS WORTH READING THIS ONCE AGAIN FROM THE CEO................. As the communications market has evolved in recent years, so has SpiriTel. As businesses have been assessing the opportunities that arise from 'converged communications', SpiriTel has been focusing on developing a robust business model that offers value to both customers and investors. It has been an incredible two years for the Group. We have restructured our business to focus on long term relationships with business customers and brought together a board and management team focused on delivering growth in this market. We have acquired and integrated four businesses into the Group and grown our customer base and product portfolio to record levels. We now have over 1,000 SME and corporate clients, including Marriott Hotels, Whitbread and BBC Worldwide. I am particularly pleased with the progress we have made in developing products and services based on emerging IP technologies. The VoIP hype of the last decade has left behind a number of casualties but we have built upon our strong foundations in IP based communications to deliver a new range of networking, Wi-Fi and VoIP services alongside our traditional voice and data product portfolio. We are enabling our customers to provide an improved service, reduce costs and increase business efficiencies through the adoption of these technologies. If you are visiting our site as an investor, I hope you find a company that has developed a robust business model with increasing earnings visibility and exciting growth opportunities. If you are a business looking for either traditional or converged communications services then I hope you find the products you are looking for; all of which are backed up by a focus on excellent customer service - a constant theme behind our recent successes. These are exciting times for the communications industry, and I am confident that SpiriTel will continue to capitalise on the opportunities for growth that we are seeing. Many thanks for visiting the website - I hope you find what you are looking for. With kind regards Alastair | sagem
15/7/2008 05:51 | someuwin Its a long way to 3p.... we will certainly need some very, very good news to achieve that........I certainly hope so, Spiritel is very undervalued by the market makers who without doubt have kept the share price down for some reason. | sagem
14/7/2008 20:10 | Looks like a classic 'cup and handle' formation developing here - which could signify a major breakout towards 3p... | someuwin
14/7/2008 11:40 | buyers moving in | someuwin
14/7/2008 11:36 | Yes agree that we are now getting very close to items of good news! | martin44
14/7/2008 11:04 | Just 2 MM left on the offer now.Over the last month or two we have seen non stop buying, and light selling. Stock is about to hit new highs in comming weeks, driven by earnings. | tara7
14/7/2008 11:04 | people should wake up to this one once the results come out later this month. | someuwin
14/7/2008 11:02 | Here we go again and despite being in the top 15 movers this bb remains so quiet.Hopefully should change soon when company gets more noticed.Aimho | profiting
14/7/2008 09:09 | Something happening in the background here - price doesn't usually go up 10% on 200,000 buys. | doomsday investments |
