SEO are developing new products. They are finding new customers as well as getting decent orders from existing customers. Management salaries will be cut. The current uncertainty will soon be sorted so at least we will then know more details about the fund raising. Assuming it goes ahead we will almost certainly be on an share price uptrend (with the usual dips no doubt) which is why I will be considering investing more here in the fund raising. Assuming private investors will be allowed to at a bargain price :) May have to sell elsewhere though which I currently don't wish to do.

Another day comes and goes without SEO telling anyone what the discounted share price is etc.

They'll let it fall a bit further yet.Maybe they'll have a look Monday and see if it is down enough to make it worth their while.

Yes there is.They could start by cutting overheads right now such as the wage cut they are touting.

But they have chosen not to.
What message does that send?

SEO is fund raising to survive! there is no real option than to go 'fund raising for hopeful growth and profit'

That is very much a major concern for me.What is the money for?

When PM approached the funds and institutions for support on this cash call I would imagine it went something like this:-

Hi, It's Paul.......Paul Mines.....CEO of Stanelco.......Biome?......we've spoken before when I was after that money for the acquisition and you said no?........you must remember me.....?....

'Oh Yes, how can I help?'

'I'd like to raise £3.5 Million'

'what for?'

'cos we're running out of cash and I'm worried there won't be enough to pay our contracts up if the company fails'

'That's not a reason for us providing funds, have you cut your overheads?'

'No, but we will propose to if you give me the money'

What has happened to the £11m you raised last time and we all chipped in for?'

'Nearly all gone'

'So,once again, what is this money for?

'Just growth and stuff'

'So no specific purpose that is quantifiable?'

'no'

'How will this additional funding manifest itself as a return on my investment then? What additional growth are you forecasting?'

'we don't do forecasts'

'So how would shareholders benefit from this fund raising?'

'They wouldn't! It's about us, not the shareholders silly!'

'Goodbye'

'Goodbye'

DJ

You want to get that filter button fixed then. It works,it doesn't work,it works,it doesn't work!

The langbar reference was to show you for what you are and I will now try and find the specific post of yours where YOU claimed you were on benefits and would be unable to pay money to the other guy you were bad mouthing in posts before he called your bluff and you shamed yourself with an embarrassing crying apology.

This is the thread to the cache as that is the only route to find those posts due to ADVFN removing them.

Your words DJ nobody elses. You've got a bit of form for name calling on threads before having to apologise profusely.

I'm afraid growth in revenue doesn't equate to profitability.

My preference is for SEO to concentrate on profitability, then fund raising for growth - more logical than fund raising for hopeful growth and profit. Historically, SEO have raised funds for various aquisitions, court cases and general research for product development. The use of the funds and success is chequed.

Why is profit important - Being in profit in the first place indicates a message of a successful strategy, this works for RF why not the bio side? Secondly, less discount on issue of new shares and positive interest from institutions, therefore a healthy raise in share price - everyone happy :)

Grax,

You are wrong about me not having you on filter. I have had you on until this morning when I took you off in order to see if you would have a sensible reply to my post. You have been quoted several times by others in the past which is obviously how I could see something of your posts. I wonder how bringing up the LGB situation helps? I wasn't on benefits by the way and since you like raking up the past in such an unpleasant and completely unnecessary way I will now put you back onto filter. What on earth you hope to gain by those threats I have no idea.

I will, like sirmark, be considering seriously the opportunity to buy cheap shares, always assuming they are issued at a very low sp, which looks likely to me.

Grax filtered.

Atta boy doc!

Can't answer the question or defend your argument? Use the filter button.

You'd have been great on the political debates. You'd be like Brown putting his fingers in his ears and going La La La.

On a positive and serious note my pet hamster is yet again waiting to be appointed as the MD of SEO. She has no experience of successfully running a car boot sale let alone a plc but that should not be a bar to running SEO. Just awaiting one resignation and the request from the palace to take over and the little hamster will be down to Southampton in an SEO truck. Err, do they have trucks? If so WTF for? :-)

anyone know when the placing is to be announced or are they waiting until they are sure that the whole 3.5M will be taken up. If they cannot get 3.5M presumably they could opt to continue with whatever they can get?

Atta boy doc!

Why do your own research when you can come on a board.Start fatuous arguments about things you don't understand and expect others to provide you with their research!

You might want to try not disagreeing with people if you haven't got a scooby what is going on.
