He has no option but to come out with a level 1 price target.

Sheila's Nipples have a target of £5.77
I'm not prepared to take a risk at these prices, more to come off with some outright force.

Hope this helps

So the are the 6th bank to be accused of this, all of them european/british. I wonder if a US bank will get accused also?

The four banks that have already settled (Barclays, Lloyds, Credit Suisse and ING) have been fined a total of $1.8 billion or about $500m each. The language directed at Standard Chartered is particularly severe which implies a bigger fine, say $1B, but equally of interest is Standard Chartered statement of denial.

As a shareholder my primary concern is the threat of Standard losing its US banking license. I believe this to be headline grabbing though and the threat isn't likely to be followed through.

There appears to be a lot of support around £11 and the only way I can see it falling through that support is if the rhetoric over the banking license heats up.

Yield 4.4%, p.e 9, its a load of amercian rubbish as usual. Lawyer trying to make a name for himself, good defence by Standard.

Hi Ian D,

My son's just finished at Corpus (C'bridge).

I always found it a bit depressing when visiting that he knew all the libraries , laboratories and work-places and I remembered the pubs, the cafes and the theatres.....;- )!
