I guess once HRnet comes out of purdah, then one would expect something to happen, but what? If STAF is in fact insolvent due to debts to HMRC, then HMRC are perhaps not pushing for their protection money since the whole thing would fold and they would get next to nowt. My guess HMRC staff are under pressure to get in as much money as possible as quickly as possible given the current deliberate crash of the economy.
So if HRnet did a deal with HMRC, then HMRC would be motivated to pull the plug.

I could be very wide of the mark, but if I wanted money from a debtor who was teetering on the brink of insolvency, and somebody came along offering me a large slice of that debt, if I put my debtor into court so that they could buy the firm out of bankruptcy. Then I would look kindly upon that offer. Well whatever happens, perhaps not too long to wait now. Good luck to anyone taking a bet on it.

Wow, name calling again.
Lefrene, the problem is this appears to be now in play and just maybe there’s a bit of money to be made.

Well that didn't last long. This is as fascinating as CAKE, although with CAKE it was easy to spot the gaps, but with this I suppose you'd have to be an insider to see the holes, or perhaps be someone at HMRC.
