20/5/2016 10:45 | Don't know if this will base here or fill that gap with Brexit sentiment (already extremely O/S!) - but when that passes I reckon its worth a LOT more than this: 1500-2000 area. free | luckymouse

19/5/2016 14:08 | "FINANCIALS: Staffline Group builds on ‘transformatio Thu, 19 May 2016 Staffing services, outsourcing, training and employability firm Staffline Group has announced at its annual general meeting that its current trading is in line with market expectations. Chief executive Andy Hogarth said the company’s staffing division had built on the momentum of entering 2016 with “a record new business pipeline” with strong performance following a “transformatio According to a pre-released statement, Hogarth said that the customer demand for flexible labour had continued “unchanged&rdq He went on to say that PeoplePlus, the group’s employability division, was benefitting from the early completion of integrating its acquisition of welfare-to-work services provider A4e. The integration has delivered what Hogarth called “tangible improvements” in the business’s Work Programme Contract performance". | rivaldo
19/5/2016 13:27 | HP That's a very reasonable question. I must admit to not remembering or never having known exactly how the SBPCs are calculated. In general however, I still think it is inappropriate not to back them out when generating adjusted numbers. Best wishes, Martin | shanklin
19/5/2016 12:07 | Hi Shanklin Yes I think I read your original post(s). So with the substantial share price decline, wouldn't this limit the SBPCs for the interims? I had this idea there would be a stack of old and new SBPCs, the old ones revalued for say 1150 vs the 1400 at year end, generating a 'profit', vs the new ones generating a cost - and not sure if the employees have to pay an exercise price? 19/5/2016 11:53 | HP As I have posted here before, just after I sold what was a fairly large long-term holding for me, I view the share based payment charges as core to their business model. STAF have these every year and IIRC they are gradually getting larger; presumably they are used to retain and motivate staff. Once the associated adjustments are reversed to give what is IMHO more realistic figures for how the business is doing, STAF looks nowhere near such good value. Indeed this was the key reason for me selling. HTH. All IMHO. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
19/5/2016 11:42 | touching a long term trend line here... | luckymouse
19/5/2016 11:07 | Finncap have today reiterated their Buy and 1700p price target: | rivaldo
19/5/2016 10:10 | I guess the Share Based Payment Charges shouldn't be an issue at least at interims. Wonder if they become a +ve to profit.. I can see why they are Adjusted out. | hutch_pod
19/5/2016 10:10 | Liberium forecast eps 111.3p fy 16 and 122p fy 17 post the results back in Jan. Cheap, based on today's statement. The have proved the doubters wrong - value will out eventually. I'll keep adding on weakness here. dyor | aishah
