Overnight data focused in on the Australian jobs market, with a mixed set of figures bringing both a 40.9k contraction in employment, and a decline in the unemployment rate that brought the lowest figure since 1974 (3.4%).

HRnet must be looking at recent share purchases from both Henry Spain and Directors and thinking at what do we buy the shares. Also do we believe that Staffline is not a take over target!. Many overseas companies will be looking at good British companies with strong balance sheets and low valuations. Whilst Staffline says it’s not looking to make acquisitions it may soon realise its vulnerable to being acquired.
Why do we think Henry Spain keep buying and now have over 28m shares?. I’m sure they don’t expect to lose on there investment. They clearly believe it’s way to low.

Staffline have made it clear they are get rid of low margin contracts.
Concentration on contacts like BMW will mean less hours worked required to still make profits. Less hours worked equates to less overheads so equally rising profits.
Also any wage growth will be passed on to employers. Staffline edged interest payments so I’m sure they’ll be able to pass costs on.
If unemployment were to rise then then clearly there would be more workers around to fill the job shortages left when Europeans returned home.
I think the economy will need agency workers to help grow the economy and the markets will realise soon enough.
Don’t think crypto etc will lead us out of this down fall. I think new sectors will be the winners in the next bull cycle.
All recruitment companies steady today following data.
