28/2/2024 13:33 | sludgesurfer, you seem quite vitriolic towards SJP. Have they done you some harm at some point ? Regarding entry / exit fees I'm not saying people should be grateful they don't charge both. I'm saying they only charge one or the other. Are you saying they should charge neither? | dexdringle
28/2/2024 13:23 | More buy today | action
28/2/2024 13:22 | Still no 300p. LOL | action
28/2/2024 13:21 | Dex,OK. So the analogy should be extended to tesco charging you either when you walk in the door or when you exit...but you're saying we should be grateful they don't do both?Entry and exit fees are a thing of the past. Change or die. SJP has chosen to die....just slowly. And yes, on the fees, in recent years, they've made it slightly easier to see just how much they're charging for their substandard, expensive, underperforming products....after being forced to do so. Slow hand clap for them. | sludgesurfer
28/2/2024 13:00 | Anyone seen a "complaint letter template" - I think I know someone who used SJP and I guess would like to complain when I tell them | fenners66
28/2/2024 12:52 | Gone :) will wait for sub 300p in the next few months ... been watching these for a while now :) rude not to trade that drop :) | g2theary
28/2/2024 12:40 | Done ok off buying at 4:15 ... not sure how long I'll keep them mind :) | g2theary
28/2/2024 12:27 | Whether Tesco charge an exit fee or not, you are able to take your business elsewhere, if STJ were running the store they would wheel clamp your car and throw the keys down the drain | eigthwonder
28/2/2024 12:18 | Tesco don't penalise you for moving to Aldi. They also make their pricing clear. | sludgesurfer
28/2/2024 12:16 | Babbler 28 Feb '24 - 11:05 - 750 of 754 Yes. See the CMA investigation into Vets as we speak. No wonder businesses don't want to do business in this country. ^^^^^ you're not wrong. The UK is fast becoming uninvestable. The malaise of the FTSE has nothing whatsoever to do with Brexit although that is a convenient target for the woke lefties like porsche1945. It is because 'profit' has become a dirty word. And because the regulators keep moving the goalposts then backdating the changes. Imagine if they changed the speed limits on motorways to 50 MPH then backdated it to 2015 and prosecuted everyone who exceeded 50 MPH in the last 9 years. Welcome to the UK. | dexdringle
28/2/2024 12:12 | jonnybig 28 Feb '24 - 10:33 - 746 of 753 Not got these but why is there an issue with overcharging? Or should I say charging more than competitors? So if tesco have been charging me more than aldi then I can make a claim against tesco? ^^^^^^ stop being so sensible. ADVFN isn't the place for that sort of thing 🤣 | dexdringle
28/2/2024 12:09 | There is something about everything to do with this company which makes its woes just that bit more satisfying than any other companys' woes. | eigthwonder
28/2/2024 11:19 | Ouch, these look in a right mess. One to definitely avoid and certainly a falling knife to be avoided | dope007
28/2/2024 11:13 | I think you might be right.... | pander45
28/2/2024 11:05 | Yes. See the CMA investigation into Vets as we speak. No wonder businesses don't want to do business in this country. | babbler
28/2/2024 11:01 | So we're gonna get to a stage where all goods and services have to be priced exactly the same by every supplier, and woe betide those who charge more as they'll get fined for 'profiteering"? | jonnybig
28/2/2024 10:42 | Probably soon. I mean you can now claim if you took your car on credit and agreed to do so but were charged interest that was too high due to profit being made by the broker. But you agreed to the interest and a car you couldn't afford.... | babbler
28/2/2024 10:37 | 500k share worked sell there. Ouch. | babbler
28/2/2024 10:33 | Not got these but why is there an issue with overcharging? Or should I say charging more than competitors? So if tesco have been charging me more than aldi then I can make a claim against tesco? | jonnybig
28/2/2024 10:09 | There will be immense internal pressures caused by these issues and the change needed in the next 3 years. A lot of partners / junior advisors will just leave and join IFA networks…and many clients will follow as they realise how they have been treated. There will be a lot more red ink than expected for this now tarnished brand. I expect it will limp along before succumbing to a knockdown sale to PE where it can be dismembered out of public sight. | 1jat
28/2/2024 09:53 | I nailed it to within 20 quid yesterday, hope you took heed and shorted. You’ll be up massively, like me , if so😄😄 | porsche1945
28/2/2024 09:45 | No 100p Lol. | action
28/2/2024 09:43 | Amazed that SJP kept the show on the road for so long! Top prices should reflect the best service, best performance etc.Every case for the past 10 years will need to be audited. The Ombudsman limits are astronomical... | freedomexpress747
28/2/2024 09:38 | James Coney and Ali Hussain are gonna have a field day in the Times at the weekend - “WE TOLD YOU SO ……!̶ These will now be ejected from the ftse 100 at the next reshuffle !! Oh dear | jakleeds |
