Why use a fund manager - They very very very really beat the market - So far cheaper to buy a broad market tracking ETF.

Risky buying a share thats falling like this as its basically revaluing itself.

Wish you well though.

Well Hargreaves has £140bn and is worth £3.5bn, without the headache of accounting issues, fee changes, balance sheet headaches. So, I'm, going to say St James is worth about £2.5bn.

£17 to £7 in 22 months.

What exactly is £150bn of funds under management worth ?

Market cap is down from a high of over £9bn to under £4bn. Where nothing tangible has yet happened to profitability...

All these U.K. asset managers have been found out, HL shares have been cut in half and then cut in half again, and most of the others, SJP fees always a total ripoff for crxp performance, U.K. markets have suffered outflows every year since 2016 coupled with a terrible performance from the U.K. indexes over 20 years, gravity has caught up….just stick to Vanguard. Collapse in bond values ( 50pc over 3 years ) must be whacking the industry too.

They can get away with fees when markets are booming, but not in a stagnating one.

It's about time that SJP played by the same rules as the rest of the UK financial advice industry. They are being allowed to use pre-RDR charging, which is beyond belief. High charges & poor performance, why would anyone choose to invest with SJP?
