I have plenty of answers but it is pointless engaging with someone who has fixed an unalterable views. If you are so confident in your view then put your money where your mouth is at 3/1!

Not a pointless argument. I noticed you don't have an answer for it though. Because you know what the answer is. Remain are not certain of winning. Even Call me Dave knows that.

Pointless argument since there are clearly totally different perceptions. Instead, if you're so confident, why don't you back your view with money and go all in at 3/1!

Not nonsense. Just face it. Remain far from has it in the bag. As I said, if they were so sure of winning, why did Obama come and tell us blatant lies on Friday?

Nonsense. The bookmakers never had Milliband priced in to win and always had the Tories as winning the most seats in the last election. They did have Milliband as the favourite for PM based upon the assumption that a coalition would still be necessary and that a Lab/Lib was a more likely outcome than a continuation with the Tories. The Tories picked up more seats than expected due to collapse in the Lib Dem vote and that was not an option that was factored into the election odds.

By comparison the EU Referendum is a simple binary vote - in or out. If you are so confident that the vote will be out then go and remortgage your house and take a big bet at 3/1.

Vote leave and we can control immigration. Remain = Uncontrollable immigration.

Masurenguy - that is certainly certainly not a fantasy as you state.

Proponents of VOTE LEAVE wish to adopt an Australian style points based system that will be able to control both the quality AND quantity of immigrants, what is not to like about this sensible approach that is proven and tested?

Masure, bookies priced in Millipede winning the last election. Were they correct?

Your lordship [tugs at forelock], because the fear of Brexit is perceived as affecting the stock market in general and this stock in particular.

Mass immigration of zero skilled workers is bad for any industrialised economy, it benefits only the likes of retailers e.g tesco, hotels etc.

Short term profits for corporations and long term liability for the taxpayers.

UK is becoming a low skill economy, there are not much hi-tech industries.

Current EU Referendum odds. Stay 1/3 and Leave 3/1. Those of you who think that Brexit will happen can fill your boots at 3/1 and make a killing if you're that confident !

Fact is, we need immigration. The NHS would collapse overnight without foreign nurses and Doctors and I am very grateful for them. Why are you having this debate on here?

Wow - £100m or 45% wiped off the market cap this morning. Seems to be an overreaction to me but then the market can be quite irrational at times.

NB:"Vote leave and we can control immigration. Remain = Uncontrollable immigration"
That is a fantasy. There is a major economic migrant problem that will not easily go away even if ISIS is subsequently defeated and some kind of law and order is restored in places like Syria and Iraq. This is a global phenomenon largely caused by the internet and smartphones. Educated people, or those with some cash in the third world, can see the better life that exists in Europe and the USA and quite naturally they want to move there. Whether we stay or leave the EU is not going to make this problem go away.

Masure, what polls have been done since Obamas lecture then? The polls have been all over the place. Remain doesn't have a clear lead at all. If they were so sure if their arguments, they wouldn't need to trot out the President to tell lies to people.
