09/7/2016 10:18 | Martell was the architect of this cos. demise, instead of investing in its core printing division, he has used the cash flow to invest in market research and other new dangled multimedia cos, and these have now proved poor decisions, I suppose I have him to thank in one respect, acquired a subsidiary from a co. I was invested in called Hasgrove, but even that ended up a load of hassle as Hasgrove then de-listed, finally got back most of original investment but nearly left in nomansland! There is some value left here, but net debt and pension liability could leave shareholders holding the baby! | bookbroker
09/7/2016 07:46 | The golden goose is not laying so many golden eggs these days.......so can't rely on that for too much......maybe £4-5m per year. The goose has been seriously underinvested in certain areas, but pumped with money for the new age digital presses.......which cost millions to buy, will only last max 5 yrs (superseded with newer tech)......and is not giving them any profit. I've lost whatever faith I had in mgt when they bought Service Graphics, none, not ONE of the accusitions in the last 3 years have been worth the money they paid for it. Mgt should hang their heads in shame for blowing shareholder cash in this way. Oh......and did I mention the pension deficit? Tick.....tick... | waveneygnome
08/7/2016 15:39 | Hate to say it Dean but your call looks correct in a way it could prove to be beneficial teaching such a level as potential future investment . Can't help thinking that expansion was too fast too soon in hindsight but fortunately they still have the golden goose of the book division which year on year makes good profits ( pity they have used this to fund diversifying the business and not consolidating their position as market leaders ) If this is sold off then good bye st Ives Regards | diablo1967
08/7/2016 14:52 | How sad Dean, but I fear you may be right. | lord gnome

27/6/2016 07:42 | it's only just begun....didn't say it would drop to 40p the next day.... | deanroberthunt
24/6/2016 22:47 | Agree, v v oversold | tsmith2
24/6/2016 14:50 | Dean well we voted to leave which you predicted well done ! However way off the mark on its strategic affect on this share price . Previous drop was dramatic enough I think | diablo1967
24/6/2016 11:45 | Well Dean....we're out but luckily no 40p price. Surprised this hasn't dropped that far - just shows how oversold on the profit warning news this was. | waveneygnome
21/6/2016 07:40 | if he keeps saying the same thing long enough, just by the law of averages he has to be right sometime | deanroberthunt
20/6/2016 19:15 | You are the optimist tsmith - just wait till they have updated again as they could go anywhere at the moment | davr0s

17/6/2016 08:45 | Some large being reported does that clear overhang? | tsmith2
16/6/2016 18:12 | There's actually a late 50k buy from 10:13 today reported at 97p which makes up most of the volume today so wtf are MMs marking this down to 85p? | tsmith2
16/6/2016 16:39 | Wtf! MMs taking the p*ss, absolute no volume and they mark it down as much as 5p in auction.. | tsmith2
16/6/2016 16:37 | What an auction!!! 85!! | prokartace
09/6/2016 13:30 | and only death and taxes are certain...everything else is probabilty | deanroberthunt
09/6/2016 12:47 | don't be so sure.....a low turnout by the under 30's could mean we leave by default | deanroberthunt
09/6/2016 12:15 | And your statement applies across the board then ...staying in already factored in !! You are very funny !! But very deluded . Leaving the EU is not going to happen anyway so why hypothesise ? | diablo1967
08/6/2016 07:43 | Lol and leaving the e.u is a1-6 chance so conversely your statement infers that we if we remain it doubles from here !! What an idiot ! | diablo1967
07/6/2016 11:40 | leave the EU and this will halve from here | deanroberthunt
07/6/2016 10:59 | Where are they going Is the question ? | diablo1967 |
